Eva Longoria desperate to do sexy roles for as long as she can!
Desperate Housewives beauty Eva Longoria wants to cash in on all her oomph and play sexy roles while she can.

“Probably 80 per cent of the scripts I get are dramatic. I’ve had very few sexy offers, to the point that I’m getting annoyed and going ‘Hey! Where’s the sexy stuff?’” she was quoted by the Sun, as saying.
“I’m going with the sexy roles for as long as I can, because women have an expiration date in this business,’ she added.”
But she also reckons that Desperate Housewives has done wonders for the slightly older ladies.
“That expiration date is getting later and later, because of Desperate Housewives,” she said.

Ryan Seacrest thinks Sanjaya will get the boot, Jordin Sparks will win
The American Idol host is confident outside attempts to hijack the contest cannot stop the vocally challenged Sanjaya Malakar from eventually getting the boot because, "America hones in and gets rid of who needs to go and the best usually stay."
"Everywhere I go, people have been screaming at me to get rid of Sanjaya," Seacrest told People. "And I say, 'Too bad, you're doing it.'"
It is believed Sanjaya, 17, has survived in the contest so far because of the ability of websites like votefortheworst.com and satellite radio host Howard Stern to manipulate the show simply as a joke.
Seacrest is confident the viewers will eventually assert themselves.
"America hones in and gets rid of who needs to go and the best usually stay," he said.
He believes 17-year-old Jordin Sparks stands the best chance of being the next American Idol.
"She represents fantastic qualities," he says. "She's a great singer and a pretty girl. She's non-threatening, cute and attractive. Plus, she has this sincere likeability that is rare and genuine."

MySpace blogger gives up hunger strike against Sanjaya Malakar
The MySpace blogger, who was on a hunger strike for 16 consecutive days in protest against ‘American idol’ contestant Sanjaya Malakar’s continuance on the show, has finally given up under doctor’s orders.

J has also asked anyone undertaking the fasting method to resort to the voting plan for the coming weeks.
More than two weeks ago, when she went on the hunger strike, J said that she made her decision, not because of any personal issues with Malakar, but because she thinks that he isn’t worthy enough to be on the show.
“I have no problems with Sanjaya personally; he seems like a very personable and charming young man. However, he does not belong on 'American Idol,” TMZ quoted her, as stating on the site.

US designer campaigns to persuade David Beckham to leave wife Victoria in England
A US designer has launched a campaign to persuade David Beckham to leave wife Victoria in England.

T-shirts emblazoned with the slogan 'Free Becks' have gone on sale in a bid to persuade the soccer star to leave Victoria at home when he joins Los Angeles Galaxy this summer.
The T-shirts also carry the message 'Keep Posh' in smaller font, in an apparent plea to her home country.
A source said: "Becks is popular over here but Posh is seen as a bit pushy and not really in the same league. It's all a bit tongue in cheek but I don't know if Victoria will see the funny side."
The clothes have been designed by Sheila Cameron, who was behind a similar clothing campaign to "free" Katie Holmes from her husband Tom Cruise.
Cameron has also designed anti-Posh tracksuit tops, a 'Free Becks' dog outfit and baby bibs, all of which are available on the website www.FreeBecks.com.
Most Americans have wholeheartedly embraced the impending arrival of the soccer superstar, with tickets for Los Angeles Galaxy's home games being snapped up by fans and celebrities, including Tom Hanks.

Scarlett Johansson insists on a no-nudity clause in movie contracts
Scarlett Johansson is insisting on a no-nudity clause in all her movie contracts.

The curvaceous 22-year-old is determined to be seen as a serious actress and now won't commit to any role without the clause.
A source is quoted by Britain's Daily Express newspaper as saying: "Scarlett is still very young and is aware the roles she takes are going to set out where her career as an actress takes her in the future.
"She doesn't want to fall into being too controversial or too trashy so nude scenes are out for now."
However, Scarlett may have to rethink her naked stance if she lands the role of adult film superstar Jenna Jameson in a movie about her life.
The Lost In Translation star has reportedly been singled out by the X-rated actress to play her in a film movie adaptation of her autobiography 'How To Make Love Like A Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale.'
Jenna said: "We're looking at Scarlett Johansson. She's my choice. I think she's beautiful."
Scarlett is also said to be very keen on the role and is even hoping it could pave the way for Oscar glory.

Elton, who sang at Diana's 1997 funeral, said he was "thrilled" to be taking part.

Britney Spears shows off new tattoo whilst shopping in LA
Britney, who spent over an hour shopping at Barney's Monday, showed the new lips tattoo on her right wrist to the cameras as she departed. Ironically, the gesture served as a grim reminder of her meltdown before she entered rehab on 19 Feb.

Since her divorce settlement with Kevin on 29 Mar 2007, Britney has been less mindful of the paparazzi cameras and has regularly forayed outside her house to public places and restaurants.
The evening she settled with Kevin she entered a restaurant / bar for the first time since completing her 28 day rehab.
Last weekend she watched the LA Lakers first lose to the Houston Rockets on Saturday, 01 Apr, and then rout the Sacramento Kings on 02 Apr 2007.
Monday, her focus was on shopping. She first shopped on Rodeo Drive and was later seen at Barney's till past 7 pm accompanied by her cousin Ali. The two later went to Koi for some sushi.
As Britney departed Barneys she showed off the new lips tattoo on her right wrist, ironically a grim reminder of her meltdown. She had got the tattoo immediately after shaving her head on 17 Feb and three days before she entered rehab.

Heather Mills' diva demands have her dancing crew upset
Campaigner Heather Mills’ special demands on the sets of US show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ had become a maniac for members of the crew.

The estranged wife of former ‘Beatle’ Sir Paul McCartney not only insists on being served by private minders on the sets, but also had a studio on constant standby for her practice.
"She's the only one with security. She has two all the time, sometimes more," the Mirror quoted an insider as saying.
The dance studio staff is now said to be relieved that Mills has not been attending her sessions owing to her backache.
"She had tons of demands, including that blinds be down so no one knew where she practiced," the source said.
The source also revealed that Mills has received threats over her bitter split with McCartney.
A spokesman for the show has confirmed that the former model has her own bodyguards on the sets.

Chris Sligh speaks out, American Idol perplexes
'American Idol' contestant Sanjaya Malakar REUTERS/FOX/Handout."American Idol" recently axed Chris Sligh who bid sayonara on Wednesday, now says he thought about quitting the show after being criticized for his arrangement of "Endless Love," and that he just stayed in to get paid as one of the Top Ten, and now will go on tour this summer according to TMZ.com.
Sligh was interviewed by the Greenville, S.C. News, and claims he never really wanted to be the American Idol. "I never came into this wanting to win it. I made the Top Ten. That was my goal," says Sligh, who reminded some viewers of Jack Osbourne.
But when he was told that he wouldn't be able to go on tour with the Top Ten if he pulled out, Sligh "grudgingly" stayed in, getting his final walking papers two weeks later, reports TMZ.
The contestants this year are odd. Carrot Top odd, or Tiny Tim or Siegfried and Roy odd for the older viewers. The judges seem to have lost something too. Paula this season seems to be dialing it in, and does more leaning on Simon than anything. Simon is busy calculating compound interest in his head from his gi-hugent bank accounts, and Randy still eloquently dishes his bon mots: "yo yo dog, what's up dog, check it out check it out, check it out dog, you brought it dog, you know I love you dog." You know I can go on for another paragraph, dog.
The latest casualty, Sligh, 28, is a Greenville, S.C. native who proclaimed he was "bringing chubby back."
"I think it's bye-bye, curly," predicted Simon Cowell, before the results were announced by Seacrest.
He can out sing any of the dudes. Why Sanjaya wasn't thrown out with the "Bathwater", is beyond me. I guess people have their reasons.

Sandler, Beyonce, and Pirates are Kids Choice winners
Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards has become quite a high profile event, as its twentieth annual ceremony proved on Saturday night, bringing out huge stars like Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba, Hayden Panettiere, Ben Stiller, Orlando Bloom and winners like Adam Sandler, Dakota Fanning, Beyonce, and Queen Latifah. The show aired live on Nickelodeon on Saturday night and was hosted by Justin Timberlake, who helped hand out the orange Blimps that tell stars, movies, and shows that they're the kids' favorites. The whole show was like a messy kids dream, full of super-sized slime bursts at both the audience and the stars presenting and receiving awards. Let's just say - the Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards are not what you would call a typical black tie affair.
The winners of the Kids' Choice Awards are selected using all of the different Nickelodeon digital platforms, including voting online through Nick.com or even texting in votes, like they do on American Idol. This year more than 40 million kids picked the winners in 16 categories, which was 13 million more than last year's record. The ceremony took place last night at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion.
Host Justin Timberlake also won Favorite Singer, of course, and he was only one of the hight wattage stars on display on Saturday night, most of whom were willing to get into the messy fun. Celebrity participants included, according to Playfuls.com, Will Ferrell, Nicole Kidman, Orlando Bloom, Dakota Fanning, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Steve Carell, Queen Latifah, Zac Efron, Bindi Irwin, Hilary Duff, Jessica Alba, Jamie Lynn Spears, George Lopez, Jon Heder, Chris Evans, Chris Tucker, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, Tobey Maguire, Jackie Chan, Mandy Moore, Drake Bell, Emma Roberts, Jesse McCartney, Nelly, Ciara, Shia LaBeouf, Hayden Panettiere, Ice Cube, Masi Oka, Ty Pennington, Tyler James Williams, Rihanna, Devon Werkheiser, Lil' JJ, Nat Wolff, Alex Wolff, Chris Brown, Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants) and Ryan Sheckler.
The Kids' Choice Awards opened with a sliming of Mandy Moore, Jackie Chan, and Chris Tucker and famous people, usually so concerned about their appearance, were getting slimed through out. Tobey Maguire and Steve Carrell seemed to gleefully enjoy getting slimed on live national TV at the Kids' Choice Awards and Vince Vaughn even had a first for Nickelodeon fans, an interactive sliming. Kids chose online what sliming would happen and huge geyser of slime opened under the stage and turned Vince Vaughn into a sticky mess.
Believe it or not, they actually found time to give out awards last night in between all the messy fun. The TV awards winners were American Idol for Favorite Show, Drake Bell from Drake & Josh for Favorite Actor, and Miley Cyrus from Hannah Montana for Favorite Actress. Shaquille O'Neal won Favorite Athlete for the fourth time. Justin Timberlake won Favorite Male Singer and Beyonce Knowles won Favorite Female Singer. "Irreplaceable" by Beyonce Knowles won Favorite Song and Black Eyed Peas won Favorite Group. The Harry Potter books won Favorite Book.
In the movie awards categories, Adam Sandler won Favorite Movie Actor for Click, an award that he's won three times now. Favorite Movie Actress went to Dakota Fanning for her work in Charlotte's Web. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest won Favorite Movie and Happy Feet won Favorite Animated Movie. Queen Latifah won for Favorite Voice in an Animated Movie for her turn in Ice Age: The Meltdown and Spongebob Squarepants won Favorite Cartoon for the fifth year in a row as Spongebob Squarepants: Creature From the Krusty Krab won Favorite Video Game.
Finally, the coveted Wannabe Award, given to the celebrity that kids most want to be, went to Ben Stiller, and it was presented to him by last years Kids' Choice Awards' host Jack Black. There were also performances on Saturday night, including Gwen Stefani and Akon singing "The Sweet Escape" and Maroon 5 singing a new song called "Makes Me Wonder".
A half hour highlights version of the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards will play on Tuesday at 5pm, Thursday at 8:30pm, Saturday at 12pm, and a week from today at 5:30pm, all on Nickelodeon, of course.
