The on-again, off-again relationship between Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal has apparently drawn the fury of Reese's estranged husband Ryan Phillippe.According to sources, Ryan, who separated from the actress in 2006, is setting some limits on how much time Jake spends around his two children, Ava Elizabeth and Deacon Reese.
“Ryan is pissed about Jake. He didn’t want ‘that guy’ around their kids and then made some crude Brokeback Mountain remark,” Us Magazine.com quoted a source, as saying.
However, another source acquainted with Reese has countered the claims, insisting that the actress doesn’t invite Gyllenhaal for a night stay when she is with the kids.
"Reese doesn't have Jake spend the night when the kids are around,” the source said.

'Britney and I are not together', says Chris Angel
Chris Angel has hit out at rumors that he is the new man in Britney Spears’ life.
The illusionist revealed that he was just helping the pop star for her MTV Video Music Awards gig.
"It's amazing what people think. We're not together,” the People quoted Angel, as saying.
“Her manager is my manager, and I'm helping with one of her shows. I'm helping with her appearance on MTV,” he said.
Speculations of Angel and Britney’s romance arose after the two were spotted hanging out on August 15 at Cravings Restaurant in West Hollywood.
The ‘Mindfreak’ star insisted that the dinner was just professional and they were not alone.
“Yes, I'm here working on some stuff, and we went to that restaurant with 10 people. We were talking about how she wants to do something more with the [awards] show, and about me helping out and hoping to work with her on doing something to make her MTV appearance more innovative,” he said.
"It's amazing how you can't do anything now without people making up stuff," he added.
The pop star has been in talks with the show’s bosses to perform at the September 9 show at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
However, neither MTV nor Spears's reps have confirmed whether she'll appear.

Halle Berry is not pregnant
Actress Halle Berry has refuted reports that she is expecting her first child with her model beau Gabriel Aubury.
In the middle of the current week, a US tabloid reported that the Oscar winner is pregnant.
The reports also quoted a source as saying that Berry is ‘happy’ since she wanted a baby.
"Halle is so happy right now. She's wanted a baby for so long,’ the source said.
However, the source also reveals that with the joy has come a very real fear due to the fact that Berry is a diabetic and the disease can cause complications during pregnancy, including risk of miscarriage, stillbirth and birth defects.
And so, the insider revealed, the star was doing everything possible to make sure her baby is born healthy.
"But at the same time she's scared because she is very aware of the complications that having diabetes can cause during pregnancy," the source added
But, her rep has denied that report and said that it is ‘not true’.

Jessica Simpson says her divorce from husband Nick Lachey is insignificant compared to poverty in Africa.
The 27-year-old star - whose marriage to the former 98 Degrees singer officially ended in 2006 - revealed how a charity trip to Kenya made her realize what is important in life.

Joel Madden planning to propose to Nicole Richie
Joel Madden has revealed that he is planning to propose to his girlfriend Nicole Richie.
The Good Charlotte frontman hinted that he was going to pop the question soon when he was quizzed about his relationship with the Simple Life star on ABC's Live! With Regis and Kelly, reports People.
Asking Joel for a comment on the status of his relationship, host Regis Philbin asked: "You're going to present her, maybe, with... A little ring, or something?"
Startled at the question, Madden replied: "I was hoping it would be a surprise, but now..."
The couple announced earlier this month that Richie was four months pregnant.
On the show, Madden also admitted that he is preparing for the birth by reading guidebooks like What to Expect When You're Expecting, The Expectant Father and Baby Signs.

Britney spent Wednesday night with illusionist Criss Angel in his 11th floor Suite at the Tower Beverly Hills hotel sparking speculation of a one night stand. Their tryst must have been magical and it could have been carnal but it was also professional.
Angel, 39, who is going through a messy divorce just like Spears, 25, first hooked up with Spears and her friends at Cravings Restaurant in West Hollywood on Wednesday.
Later, Angel took the troubled singer for a ride in his Rolls Royce and afterwards asked her to spend the night with him.
At 2am the two went for a late-night drive, and on return ordered Britney's bodyguard to pick up some condoms at a 7-Eleven store.
"Britney seemed entranced by Criss," The Sun quoted an onlooker, as saying.
Britney left the Tower Beverly Hills hotel on Thursday afternoon.
According to an x17 source, Britney will perform at the Video Music Awards in Las Vegas on September 9 with Criss Angel as her partner and the two spent the night going over their moves at the event not doing what y'all are thinking.
Considering that Britney is inclined to break down and bolt even when performing in the absence of an audience, the presence of the 'Mindfreak' star could only help.

Britney Spears’ bizarre behavior over the past few months has experts wondering whether she’s suffering from bipolar disorder.
In the article titled “Britney on Hold,” Allure quotes NYC psychotherapist Jane Greer as saying that star suffers from bipolar disorder.
“Her behavior suggests bipolar disorder,” Usmagazine.com quoted Greer.
“The manic episodes with impulsivity and loss of control – the flashing, the head shaving, the hitting the photographer’s car with the umbrella – are what we see,” she says.
Greer, in the Allure article, points to an incident in June when Britney publicly delivered a letter to her mother Lynne telling her to stay away from her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.
“Part of manic behavior is a flight from reality and the anger. People who are manic get angry at people who try to take away their high – like her mother, for example – by introducing any element of reality,” Greer added.

Life is B(r)ad for Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie is not fighting with Brad's parents or throwing wine at his face. Neither is she sick with an eating disorder. Handling four kids can be stressful and because of that Jolie's life is B(r)ad.
Speaking with People magazine, a source close to the couple refuted persistent tabloid reports that the couple's life together is beginning to unravel over differences between Jolie and Pitt, Jolie and Pitt's parents and Jolie's eating disorder.
"There are no problems whatsoever," the source says. "Things are really good."
People magazine editor J.D. Heyman, speaking with Access Hollywood, elaborates on the People story on the couple in their current issue.
"Things have actually never been better," Heyman said. "Anybody who has four small children knows it can be stressful. But the children really do seem to bring Brad and Angelina together."
Commenting on reports that Jolie threw wine at Brad's faces during a heated exchange while vacationing in France Heyman says, "It never happened."
Similarly, there are no differences between Jolie and Brad's family.
"Brad's entire family spent Maddox's birthday in Santa Barbara with Brad and Angelina. They have a good relationship and they spend time together," Heyman said.
Pitt's parents, his brother Doug and sister Julie attended the birthday bash.
Jolie is frail but not sick contends Heyman.
"She eats three square meals a day, just like anybody else. She is chasing a lot of kids around. This is not somebody who is a sick person. She is definitely healthy."

The 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry' actress - who began dating Justin in February shortly after he split from Cameron Diaz - believes marriage is just a piece of "paperwork".
Jessica told Cosmopolitan magazine: "I don't feel the need to settle down right now. "And if I do meet somebody, I don't feel the need for the paperwork of marriage. For me, a verbal agreement is enough. I don't know if I want to get married."

The nannies that Britney Spears hired to look after her kids may help give her ex hubby Kevin Federline the ammunition he needs against her in the custody battle over their kids.
The nannies are revealing that the troubled pop star not only asked one to share a bed with her and son Sean Preston, but also regularly drinks in front of her young sons.
“She drinks in front of the kids. At first, the drinks would help her loosen up and not be so angry. But she’d inevitably drink too much and be out of it, at which point the nannies would take care of the kids,” Usmagazine.com quoted one staffer, as saying.

Some of those who have seen Britney and Funk together are not ready to take Funk's denial of an amorous relationship with Britney at its face value.
"They seemed really in touch with each other, like they knew what each other wanted," a stylist who recently worked with the singer told OK!
Funk, worked with Britney for just three weeks, before being fired July 25 shortly after Britney's disastrous shoot with OK! Magazine.
She was located and subpoenaed by Kevin Federline lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan yesterday while she was with the OK! senior reporter Shauna Bass and photo director Maria Collazo for what is believed was a tell all session.
Her testimony could prove damaging to Britney in her legal battle with her former husband, Federline, who is seeking full custody of their children.

L. A. Galaxy provides David Beckham with a private jet to get to games
L A Galaxy has said that it has got special permission from Major Soccer League (MLS) officials to ferry former England soccer captain David Beckham to matches around the United States in private jets.According to The Sun, MLS rules state private jets are not to be used, as they do not want players to be seen setting themselves apart from fans.
But in Beckham’s case, an exception was made on grounds of security.
Fans have mobbed Beckham wherever he has appeared, and L.A. Galaxy fears the situation could spiral out of control.
Galaxy General Manager Alexi Lalas said: “It has to do with team security. We’re not just bringing one of the biggest athletes in the world, but also one of the most famous people in the world. Our team needs to be safe.”

Ginger Spice craves a second baby, may have found Mr. Right
Singer Ginger Halliwell, who recently enjoyed a great holiday in Saint Tropez with her friends, spent a lot of time talking about having a second child. She was also seen with an athletic, mystery man who may well be her Mr Right.

According to the Daily Mail, during her holiday in South France, Ginger was seen with an athletic, mystery man.
“They were seen walking along the coastline with arms around each other’s waist.” .
Halliwell split with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi when she was pregnant with his child Bluebell.
Bluebell Madonna was born 14 months ago and Gervasi has had little involvement in his daughter’s life.

Paris' Hollywood Hills pad snapped up for $4.25 mn
Paris Hilton’s Hollywood Hills mansion has been sold for 4.25 million dollars, after being on the market for just ten days.Potential buyers were carefully screened to avoid letting unwanted priers from getting a sneaky peek into the property.
Hilton had bought the 3.000-square foot, Spanish style pad in 2004 for 2.9 million dollars, according to Us Weekly.
The place also has a pool, complete with Jacuzzi, waterfall and hotel-style cabanas, as well as separate guest quarters and a separate office.
During the drama following Hilton’s arrest and release, the residents of Hollywood hills circulated a petition asking their neighbors to bring in the police to attend to the swarm of photogs and nose levels.
Actress Cameron Diaz was also among the residents who expressed displeasure.
"There were 10 helicopters above her house, which I live not too far from," Diaz complained at the time. I was like, 'Could you please keep it down?' We all suffer when Paris suffers." E! Online quoted Diaz, as saying
The hotel heiress is looking for another place to buy, but it is unclear where exactly she is planning to relocate.

DiCaprio's environmental talk 'bores' paparazzi into leaving him alone
Leonardo DiCaprio has found the perfect way to avoid the paparazzi by talking about global warming.
The actor, a passionate crusader for the environment, is outspoken about his views on this subject, and on the world’s dependency on fossil fuel.
As the three-time Oscar nominated actor tells the Chicago Sun-Times in an interview, this unfortunately for the paparazzi, doesn’t make for good tabloid material, and so they tend to keep away from him.
"The tabloids and the paparazzi don't care what I have to say about global warming or getting away from dependency on fossil fuels. ... I think I've just bored them into leaving me alone," DiCaprio said.
In the meantime, the actor is getting set to premiere a new Hollywood environmental film, produced and narrated by him in Durban later this month.
The feature-length documentary, The 11th Hour, aims to highlight a wide range of environmental crises caused by human actions and their impact on the Earth.

Britney's former bodyguard served with subpoenas
Pop star Britney Spears’ former bodyguard Daimon Shippen has been received two subpoenas, court’s orders to testify for a trial, from Kevin Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan.
The orders require Shippen to give evidence in the former couple’ custody battle over their two sons.
A close associate of Federline said that Shippen ‘was completely surprised to be served. He was dumbfounded and in a state of shock.’
The source added that Federline believes that having worked with the ‘Toxic’ star for years now, Shippen will have a great knowledge of Spears’ parenting skills.
“(Shippen) is in a unique position having worked with Britney for a long time and has incredible knowledge of her parenting skills and comings and goings. This is an ongoing operation," Us magazine quoted the source, as saying.
Earlier this week, Spears’ cousin and close associate Alli Sims was also served a subpoena to testify for the trial about the singer’s parenting skills.
