Brad Pitt calls Angelina Jolie an 'amazing' mother

Brad Pitt has praised partner Angelina Jolie for being an "amazing" mother.

Maddox, three-year-old Pax, and two year-old Zahara, as well as a 15-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh, with the actress - says his family are blessed.

He said: "One of the things I'm most happy about for my kids, is that they have a mother who, I think, is amazing."

The Ocean's Thirteen star added his children always cheer him up if he is feeling down.
He told ABC's 'Good Morning America': "They say the funniest things I've ever heard. They're the funniest people I've ever met."

Pitt also revealed playing Jesse James in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford brought back memories of his childhood, as him and his character both grew up in Missouri.

He said: "He's from the same area that I'm from. I was surprised how much that meant to me in the end, to do something that had a connection with home."

The actor says the role made him reflect on the "congenital sadness" of the region.

He added: "It's something that I feel in my grandparents, in the people I've met, in a Southern way of life. It's something pervasive, an undercurrent that I think Christianity answers."

Britney Spears' new party chum is Avril Lavigne

Britney Spears has found a new 'party' pal in pop rival, Avril Lavigne.

The two met when Britney joined pals at Hollywood hotspot Hyde, and after hitting it off, they even shared a ride to another hotspot, Winston's, reports X17.

Avril and Britney's partying comes just months after the former criticized Spears for being too weedy to handle the demands of stardom.

"What's happened to Britney is all down to who she is as a person. If you want a piece of this business you have to be able to deal with it. You can't complain about the pressures, the paparazzi, the madness, because that's your job," she told Sun in April.

Lavigne had also previously slammed the 25-year-old mother-of-two saying she dressed like a 'showgirl' and danced like a 'hoe'.

Jennifer Lopez lays down her diva demands

Even before Jennifer Lopez landed in London for a two-day promotional tour for her new album, she had staff at luxury hotel The Dorchester running ragged to comply with the two-page list that reached before she did.

Among the items that the star needed be present in her room, apart from the usual bottled water, soft drinks, lilies or red or white roses, were the Grapefruit and Lime Blossom candles from her favorite beauty guru, Jo Malone.

Also on the list was plain M&Ms, as well as baked cookies, reports the Daily Mail.

JLo also asked that no alcohol, apart from a request for low-calorie beer, be present in her room - something that is sure to spark of more reports of a pregnancy.

The list also included a request for a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and an oven.

Lopez's sixth studio album 'Brave' is due for release in October.

She recently opened up about her album to MTV saying: "I'm really excited about it. The first single will be out this summer. And, you know, it's very different from my Spanish album.

"My Spanish album was kind of an opportunity to get away from what I do on my English albums, to kind of express a different side of myself".

Kim Kardashian to be Playboy's December cover girl

Kim Kardashian has been selected as Playboy's December cover girl by chief Hugh Hefner.

Earlier it was widely reported that Kim did a photo shoot for Playboy, and now Usmagazine.com has exclusively confirmed that she has indeed been selected as the cover girl by the magazine.

A source also revealed that Kardashian's pics will be one of the longest Playboy has done.

"Kardashian's 12-page pictorial will be one of the longest spreads Hef has done in a long time," Usmagazine.com quoted a source, as saying.

A source said: "Kardashian will show one boob, and her bare butt."

Britney Spears is pacified

Britney looked different Thursday when she went shopping with her one-year-old toddler Jayden James at the trendy store Adriano Goldschmied and it wasn't because she periodically sucked on Jayden's pacifier!

She looked less trashy, almost elegant, attired in blue stretch jeans, white top and grey colored front open sweater. She had her hair pulled back and wore eye glasses, looking distinctly intellectual.

She looked…well….pacified and once again it wasn't because she periodically sucked on Jayden's pacifier! Britney must have been a bundle of nerves Monday (17 September) when her former bodyguard came forward to testify in her custody dispute with former husband Kevin Federline alleging 'nudity, drug use and safety issues.' No one heard him or cross examined him almost as if they knew what he had to say was correct.

On Tuesday Los Angeles County Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon chastised the troubled pop star calling her "a habitual, frequent and continuous" user of drugs and alcohol and asked her to submit to random biweekly drug tests.

However, Gordon's decision to allow Britney to retain custody of her kids was legally confounding and can only be interpreted as an impassioned appeal to her to get her act right.

Britney must have been overwhelmed by the Commissioner's generosity and she responded by doing what she does best - clubbing through the night on Tuesday.

Yesterday, was the first time she was seen in public since Tuesday night.

Vanessa Hudgens visits a doctor

"High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens visited a physical therapist with her mom in Burbank, CA.

After initially apologizing for her risqué photos that leaked to the internet, including a full frontal nude shot, the 18-year-old is now becoming less coy.

"I think being a woman and being able to show a sexy side is empowering," she says
"Being able to show we are comfortable in our skin is a good thing. I totally would pose for a sexy magazine."

"But not Playboy," she adds showing she does have some discretion.

Vanessa was recently offered $50,000 by Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild fame, who apparently continues to focus on his business from his prison cell in Nevada.

Incarcerated for tax evasion, 34-year-old Fracis says, "Vanessa is the classic girl next door gone wild. Being sexual is not a crime."

Justin Timberlake publicly distances himself from ex-lover Britney Spears

The 'SexyBack' singer - who dated his former Mickey Mouse Club co-star for four years until they split in 2002 - claims he doesn't recognize his first love anymore.

Justin, 26, told US chat show host Oprah Winfrey: "I don't know what's going on with her, to be honest with you. I haven't spoken to her in years.

"I mean, there's no ill will - I have nothing but love for her. It's funny because we dated each other at a time - wow, I haven't talked about this in a long time. It's interesting.
"We were teenagers, you know?

"I think that's basically the best way to describe what happened to us. I think she's a great person, and I don't know her as well as I did."

This year, Britney has seemingly imploded under the world's glare. Her worrying antics have included shaving her hair in public, drinking, partying and accused of drug taking.

Despite her downfall, Justin insists underneath it all she is still a "great" person.

He said: "What I do know about her is she has a huge heart, and she is a great person."

The Black Snake Moan star went on to reveal what he loves most about new girlfriend Jessica Biel - her smell.

Justin gushed: "I'm dating someone, but all I can tell you is she smells lovely.

"I get pretty romantic around her. I sing to her and when I'm on tour we talk on iChat with a webcam.

"Technology is a wonderful thing sometimes. I find that to be really cool, when you can actually see someone's face.

"I do it with my friends, as well, just to have a conversation back and forth. It just makes you feel closer, that's all."

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes want another daughter

The couple is reportedly trying for another baby and would love it to be a little sister for 18-month-old daughter Suri.

A source on the set of Tom's latest movie Valkyrie said: "It's something they want to do sooner rather than later. Suri has been such a joy for Tom, so he'd be more than happy to have another girl. Katie feels the same."

The couple are staying in Berlin, Germany, while Tom films the World War II drama, and the 45-year-old actor has signed up to star in The Hardy Men as soon as Valkyrie wraps next month.

Katie, 28, is keeping her schedule free and has no new movies lined up.

A source told OK! magazine: "She is preparing for another pregnancy."

Asked recently if she wanted more children, Katie said: "Yes, definitely.

We're having the best time, it's so amazing. We have so many kids in our house, there's always this wonderful chatter and this great noise of kids."

Katie and Tom live in Los Angeles with Suri and Tom's two adopted children, Isabella, 14, and Connor, 12, from his previous marriage to Nicole Kidman.

Paris Hilton banned from Germany's Oktoberfest beer festival

Paris Hilton has been banned from attending Munich’s Oktoberfest after she "cheapened" the event last year.

'Oktoberfest' is a two-week festival held each year in Munich, Bavaria, Germany during late September and early October.

It is one of the most famous events in the city and the world's largest fair, with some six million people attending every year, reports the Sun.

Last year, the socialite angered locals when she arrived at the event in a traditional Bavarian dress and plaits to promote a brand of canned wine.

The locals slammed the organizers for making the event look ‘shabby’.

Munich tourism chief Gabriele Weishaeupl revealed that celebrity promotions “are completely prohibited by the new festival rules” this year.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban selling their Nashville mansion

The ‘Cold Mountain’ actress and husband Keith are moving out of the country singer's four-bedroom Tennessee house in search of a place reflecting both their tastes.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are selling their Nashville mansion for $2.5 million.

A friend of the couple told the New York Daily News newspaper: "It was Keith's house really - they are probably just looking to find a home that is theirs."

The 7,000 sq ft property, which boasts a spa, pool, gym and five bathrooms, is located in an exclusive gated community.

The pair already own houses in Australia and New York, and are also said to be looking for a property in Los Angeles so Nicole's adopted children, Isabella and Connor, can be closer to their adoptive father Tom Cruise.

Nicole recently revealed she enjoyed living with her co-stars Jack Black and Jennifer Jason Leigh while filming Margot at the Wedding.

She said: "We all lived at this house in the Hamptons. Jennifer would cook breakfast on Sunday, and we'd all go to work Monday to Friday, and then hang out at the weekend.

"Jack would play guitar. And we would lie around in the bed, rehearsing. You don't tend to make films like that any more - it's a more 70s way of making films."

'Wigs, baseball caps' clad Michael Jackson clan meets 'Lion King' cast

Pop singer Michael Jackson’s children were disguised in wigs and baseball caps when he took them to see ‘The Long King’ at the Minskoff Theatre on Sunday.

"All of a sudden, Michael Jackson appears with his three kids - who all had wigs and baseball caps on," the New York Post quoted Aspen magazine fashion editor Sue Hostetler as saying.
Hostetler was backstage at the time of Jackson’s entry with his kids.

She revealed that the singer introduced his children as Paris, Prince and Blanket to the cast.
Jackson and his kids also took pictures with the cast, she said.

Hostetler also revealed that Jackson was clad in wacky pants, and that there were four bodyguards with the family.

"His face was totally white, he had his wig on, sunglasses and these absolutely wacky pants. It was surreal. There were four bodyguards," she said.

Jackson, who has been living in Las Vegas lately, was in New York to pose for a cover of Italian Vogue.

Daniel Craig hits the gym for the next Bond film

The hunky actor is desperate to bulk and tone up before he starts filming the next 007 adventure, tentatively titled 'Bond 22'.

But Daniel, who is also having skiing lessons in preparation for the latest high-octane thriller, is less than keen on his new regime.

A source at Bond producers EON Productions said: "Filming has begun on the next Bond but it's all been preliminary and filler shots. Daniel has yet to shoot any scenes.

"He's been hammering it in the gym, though. He is starting to get even more toned than before. But he's told us he's not a fitness freak so it's really tough getting to the gym."

Daniel, 39, who wowed women all over the world when he emerged from the sea wearing a tight pair of blue trunks in Casino Royale, has said the only thing that gets him through the tough workouts is a pint of Guinness afterwards.

The source added: "Daniel joked the only thing keeping him going is to have regular pints of Guinness. He said it's all part of his regime, and that Guinness is really good for the heart."

Daniel has an extra incentive to tone up as he previously revealed he is willing to do a full-frontal nude shot.

He said: "In today's world we expect female actresses to go naked so why not men? I have told bosses I'm prepared to do a full frontal scene. I'm not shy and Bond wouldn't be shy about it either."

'I've only slept with four men', says Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie insists all those reports about her bedding dozens of men are untrue, and reveals that she has only slept with four men.

The Lara Croft star tells Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine that she is stunned whenever she is labeled a ‘man-eater’, for she has never been sexually promiscuous.

Jolie insists that apart from current partner Brad Pitt, she has only slept with three other men - Billy-Bob Thornton, Johnny Lee Miller and her first boyfriend with whom she had a live-in relationship at the age of 14.

"It was never true. I had only slept with four men in my life - and I married two of them!" she told the magazine.

Meanwhile, rumors have been swirling that the actress is pregnant with her second biological child, after she was spotted with a ‘baby bump’.

However, friends insist that the rumors are not true, and that Jolie has been told by doctors that she needs to put on some weight before conceiving, for she is just too thin.

Demi Moore has officially changed her name to Mrs Ashton Kutcher, two years after tying the knot with her actor hubby.

The actress has changed her named on her driving license, credit cards, passport and other documents.

An insider revealed to In Touch magazine that Moore made the switch for her husband’s sake.
"Demi did this for Ashton. She knew that this was something he wanted, so she finally made the switch," the source told the mag.

However, Demi’s name will continue to appear as ‘Demi Moore’ for all her professional endeavors.

Born Demetria Gene Guynes, Demi changed her surname to Moore when she married her first husband, songwriter Freddy Moore. Though they divorced in 1985, she kept the last name.

Is Jennifer Lopez pregnant?

Jennifer Lopez may finally be on the mommyhood path for latest reports claim that the singer/actress is pregnant with her first child.

According to In Touch, Lopez and husband Marc Anthony received the good news after visiting her Beverly Hills gynecologist, fertility specialist Dr. Robert Katz.

Sources have told the publication that the Wedding Planner star had an ultrasound performed in a New York office on Sept. 12.

"The test calculated that she was about 12 weeks pregnant,” the Sun quoted an insider, as telling the mag.

Lopez has been trying to conceive for the past two years and eventually turned to in vitro fertilization.

And close friends of the couple claim that the baby news could be a double blessing, for doctors believe Lopez could be expecting twins.

"The way the fetus is lying made it difficult for the doctor to tell if there was more than one baby in there,” a friend told the mag.

It is not certain whether the pregnancy reports will hinder the couple's upcoming tour dates, which begin in early November.

This will be Jennifer and Anthony’s first child together. Anthony already has three children from previous relationships.

Pictures of Angelina Jolie with a ‘baby bump’ have sparked rumors that she and Brad Pitt will soon be welcoming another child into the family. However, doctors insist that she is just too thin to conceive.

pal of the actress revealed that the Lara Croft star was desperate to have another baby with her beau, but has been told by her doctors that she must put on some weight before she can get pregnant.

“Angelina is desperate to get pregnant again, but doctors say she is just too thin,” The Sun quoted the pal, as saying.

The friend also revealed that the UN Goodwill ambassador had recently been convinced that she was expecting Pitt’s baby, but was left heartbroken when she found out that she wasn’t.

“She convinced herself she was already pregnant so was heartbroken,” the pal said.

Jolie’s weight plummeted after her mum Marcheline Bertrand’s death earlier this year, but pals say that she has now put on a few pounds.

The star and Pitt are already parents to four kids – Maddox, 6, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, one.

Pitt recently admitted that he and Jolie were ready to take one more child.

The couple looked contented and in love, even if Pitt showed up with facial foliage that had been left undisturbed for a week.

Angelina Jolie's reported baby bump was not visible and incredibly enough she appeared to have put on some weight.

The Jolie-Pitt family is currently staying in New York where their six-year-old son Maddox recently began taking classes at the exclusive Upper East Side $18,000-a-year private school Lycee Francais de New York.

When at school the Jolie and Pitt behave no different from normal parents.

"They are at school early to pick him [Maddox] up at the end of the day, and they always drop him off just a few minutes before the school day starts," says an insider.

"Brad and Angelina come in together a few days a week, but oddly enough, they never touch each other. They'll hug Maddox and one of them will take his hand, but they stay apart when they are in public," the insider adds.

It’s a girl for Salma Hayek, fiancé

41-year-old actress names first child Valentina Paloma Pinault

Salma Hayek has given birth to a baby girl, Valentina Paloma Pinault, her publicist announced Friday.

"Mother and child are doing well," publicist Cari Ross said in a statement. No other details were released.

The Mexico-born actress, 41, is engaged to businessman Francois-Henri Pinault.

Hayek has starred in films such as "Frida," "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over" and "After the Sunset." She is one of the executive producers of ABC's "Ugly Betty" and the chief executive of Ventanazul, a production company she formed with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.

Pinault, 45, is the chief executive officer of the luxury goods company PPR SA, which owns high-end labels such as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Puma.

George Clooney injured in motorcycle accident

Actor suffered a broken rib; his passenger broke her foot

George Clooney and a companion were injured on Friday when their motorcycle collided with a car on a narrow road across the Hudson River from New York City.

Clooney suffered a broken rib and scrapes while his passenger, Sarah Larson, broke her foot in the 3:30 p.m. collision. The two were treated at Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen and released, Clooney’s spokesman, Stan Rosenfield, said.

“He’s doing fine,” Rosenfield said. “He has a broken rib, it’s very painful and it’ll take a long time to heal.”

It wasn’t known whether the Mazda’s driver, whose identity was not immediately released, used a turn signal, Kelly said. The accident was under investigation.

Rosenfield said the accident occurred when the vehicle signaled a left-hand turn, but turned right and struck Clooney’s motorcycle.

“The car signaled left. George was riding to the right. The driver decided to make an abrupt right turn and clipped George,” he said.

The 46-year-old actor was in the New York area to film the dark comedy “Burn After Reading,” co-starring Brad Pitt, John Malkovich and Frances McDormand.

Clooney’s recovery shouldn’t interrupt the production’s schedule, Rosenfield said.

Clooney’s latest film, “Michael Clayton,” will be released next month. He and Larson have been spotted together at several film festivals and movie premieres in recent weeks.

Britney to face hit-and-run charge

Britney Spears legal woes mounted Friday as prosecutors charged her with misdemeanor counts of hit and run and driving without a valid license after she allegedly smashed her car into another in a parking lot in August.

If convicted, the singer could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for each count, said Nick Velasquez, spokesman for the city attorney’s office.
Messages left with Spears’ attorneys were not immediately returned.

The accident occurred Aug. 6, Velasquez said.

Spears, 25, was filmed by paparazzi that day steering her car into another vehicle as she tried to turn into a spot in a Studio City parking lot. After assessing the damage to her own car only, she was shown on paparazzi video walking away.

Three days after the accident, the owner of the other vehicle, Kim Robard-Rifkin, filed a police report, and investigators later determined that Spears does not have a license, officials said.
Robard-Rifkin, a 59-year-old registered nurse, learned it was Spears who had hit her car through a video posted on the celebrity Web site CelebTV.com.

She said she was “sort of amused and sort of shocked” when she learned Spears was the source of the damage, adding that she had expected to hear from the star’s camp.

“I simply want my car fixed, the same as I would fix somebody’s car if I had done that,” Robard-Rifkin told the site in August.

Spears was scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 10, but she is not required to appear.
The case comes days after a court commissioner ordered her to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week in her child custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline. She must also meet eight hours a week with a parenting coach, who will observe and report back to the court about her parenting skills.

Her management firm also recently dropped her, and her performance at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards was widely panned. Spears’ new album is set for release Nov. 13.

He told ABC's 'Good Morning America': "They say the funniest things I've ever heard. They're the funniest people I've ever met."

Pitt also revealed playing Jesse James in 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford' brought back memories of his childhood, as him and his character both grew up in Missouri.

He said: "He's from the same area that I'm from. I was surprised how much that meant to me in the end, to do something that had a connection with home."

The actor says the role made him reflect on the "congenital sadness" of the region.He added:
"It's something that I feel in my grandparents, in the people I've met, in a Southern way of life.
It's something pervasive, an undercurrent that I think Christianity answers."

British singer James Blunt says his fellow countrymen have no sense of style.

The musician blamed his poor dress sense on his nationality, insisting UK men struggle to look good.

Speaking at GQ magazine's 50th anniversary party at New York's Cedar Lake club on Tuesday (18.09.07), he said: "As you can tell, being British, I have no sense of style."

Despite his unimpressive wardrobe, the star still managed to attract the attention of a mystery blonde. The pair were spotted leaving the party together arm-in-arm.

Other guests at the glitzy bash - which featured a performance by Kanye West - included Beyoncé Knowles, Jay-Z, P. Diddy, LL Cool J and Cindy Crawford.

Earlier this month, James revealed he regularly uses his pop star status to have sex with groupies.

He said: "I've always thought it was my responsibility to meet beautiful girls. I have been told by people that I should not be seen clubbing with good-looking women, but I can't see why not. Why be a pop star otherwise?

"I have fun with it and I am honest and open about the way I lead my life and don't mislead anyone. I've had the time of my life and thank God for that, it would be such a waste otherwise."

The 'Friends' star was said to be tired of seeing her ex-husband Brad Pitt and lover Angelina Jolie on the cover of every magazine, and was delighted to be back in the spotlight herself after showing off her toned body on holiday in Hawaii recently.

A source told America's OK! magazine: "The reaction from people seeing her in that itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny bikini did more for Jen's self-image and self-confidence than all her years of therapy put together.

"She didn't realise the impact it had until she was back in Los Angeles after the trip. Everywhere she went, everyone she spoke to told her what an absolute knockout she is and what great shape she's in.

"For a 38-year-old woman who has just come out of a relationship and hasn't been in front of the cameras in two years - it had her walking on air." Jennifer has also completely renovated her Los Angeles mansion.

The actress, who bought the house for $15 million last year, gutted the 9,000 sq ft, mid-century architectural mansion and had it redecorated to suit her taste. A source said: "She's viewing it as a symbol of her independence."

Rapper Snoop Dogg was sentenced to three years´ informal probation and 160 hours of community service.

Rapper Snoop Dogg was sentenced to three years' informal probation and 160 hours of community service Thursday, after pleading guilty to possessing a collapsible baton in his carry-on bag at a California airport.

The 35-year-old entertainer, whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr., must also donate $10,000 to a children's charity under the terms of the deal hammered out at Orange County Superior Court in Santa Ana, California, about 34 miles south of Los Angeles.

He was arrested with the baton at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana in September 2006.

Snoop Dogg's lawyer, Donald Etra, said the baton had been used by his client in a musical sketch. Etra had advised him to plead not guilty, but said his client wanted to resolve the issue.

Snoop Dogg, who was acquitted of murder in 1993, was arrested on two other occasions in 2006 for marijuana and gun possession. He has since been denied entry to Australia and Britain.
