The tears finally begin to flow for Britney Spears

The shame of being declared an unfit mother seems to have finally seeped into the befuddled brains of the troubled pop star seen in tears Thursday, October 4, for the first time since being divested of the custody of her two toddlers.

Wednesday night after checking into an upscale Beverly Hills hotel Britney abruptly checked out around midnight and moved back to her Hollywood Hills house.

She remained locked up for most of Thursday finally emerging for a quick drive to grab a coffee. She looked as if she had been crying.

Britney drove with her silky terrier dog London on her lap and talked on the phone as tears rolled down her cheeks.

She wiped them away when she spotted photographers but they could still be seen on her neck. Her nose was red and swollen presumably from blowing.

Maybe Britney has finally begun to perceive the gravity of her situation in her child custody dispute with ex husband Kevin Federline.

The bravado of the past three days seems to have given away to abject despair and hopefully that will arrest the downward spiral of her personal life over the past few months.

Michelle Pfeiffer likes to dress up as a vampire

The Hollywood sex symbol - who plays a wicked witch in her new film 'Stardust' - enjoyed pretending to be a blood-sucking demon when she was a child.

Michelle told BANG Showbiz: "I used to like to dress up as a vampire I have to say. That was my most memorable costume."

The Hairspray star also confessed she prefers playing evil characters to good guys.

She said: "Yes I think bad guys have more fun. I don't know about real life, but let's just say actors playing bad guys definitely have more fun."

The 49-year-old actress looked radiant at the European premiere of Stardust in London's Leicester Square on Wednesday.

She made sure she showed her appreciation to the throng of waiting fans by spending time signing autographs.

Michelle was joined on the red carpet - which had been transformed into an enchanted forest - by co-stars Ricky Gervais and Charlie Cox.

The screening was held up by actress Sienna Miller, who also stars in the film, who arrived late and kept the audience waiting 10 minutes for the movie to start.

Angelina Jolie's taut tummy nixes pregnancy rumors

Angelina Jolie's emaciated stomach almost spoiled In Touch's idea for their current week's cover page 'Is Angelina Jolie pregnant'.

So, the magazine decided to buy the photos of the actress in a midriff-baring tank top, to stop any other magazine from running them.

"When Angelina showed up looking so skinny, they bought the photos," the New York Post quoted an insider, as saying.

The publication claims that the actress has gained 10 pounds, but has completely ignored the Oscar Winner's taut stomach.

"The most striking area of Angelina's weight gain is in her chest, which is why we focused on that area," the magazine said.

Prince William and Kate Middleton at Boujis nightclub

Prince William and Kate Middleton were spotted at Boujis nightclub Thursday, October 5, on yet another romantic date. Even as their romance picks up steam the couple continues to avoid media attention.

As they emerged from the night club late at night they literally dived into a waiting Range Rover with William's security and sped off.

Before meeting up with Prince William at Boujis Kate went to Brinkley's restaurant in Fulham with some girl mates.

Earlier this month they were seen dining at Locanda Ottoemezzo, a popular neighborhood Italian eatery in Kensington, away from their usual Fulham and West End haunts and sans any friends.

William apparently asked his protection officers to stay outside the restaurant as he and Middleton savored a candle light dinner sitting side-by-side at a small table with their faces close together holding hands.

Judge puts the squeeze on a recalcitrant Britney Spears

Following a three-hour, closed-door court session on Wednesday attended by lawyers for Spears and Federline, L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon stipulated that future noncompliance of court orders by Britney Spears would result in consequences.

Till the hearing on Monday, October 1, Britney had not complied with any of the stipulations contained in Commissioner Gordon's order of September 17.

By Wednesday, October 3, Britney had obtained a California driving license but still not submitted herself to random bi-weekly drug and alcohol tests, met with a parenting coach bi-weekly for a minimum of eight hours or taken co-parenting counseling.

Commissioner Gordon now wants Britney to complete three joint counseling sessions with ex-husband Kevin Federline and at least three individual counseling sessions by the next hearing under the custody dispute set for Oct. 26

In addition Britney, a no show on three occasions for random drug tests, has been told "a missed [drug] test, refusal to submit to a test, or failure to respond to the testing agency's call ... shall be deemed by the court as a failed test."

The message to Britney to get her act together is unambiguous even with the monitored visitation rights that she has been granted.

"…the monitor shall terminate visitation immediately if any conduct or action by [Spears] endangers the minor children," the order states.

Jennifer Aniston snaps up condo in the Big Apple

Jennifer Aniston has snapped up a new apartment in the Armani/Casa-designed condo building in the Financial District of New York.

According to the New York Post, the apartment at 20 Pine, The Collection is likely to have a 4 million dollar hole in the former ‘Friends’ star’s bank balance, for that’s the price the condos are rated at.

However, she certainly is not begrudging the money.

In fact, Aniston is so thrilled with her new pad that she’s been bribing workmen to take her up in the construction elevator so she can repeatedly check out her pad.

The building was formerly used to house Chase Manhattan Bank offices.

New Kardashian sex tapes being investigated

A criminal investigation has been launched to enquire whether the sexually explicit pictures of reality starlets Kim and Kourtney Kardashian were taken when they were underage.

San Fernando Valley photographer Eric Ford was offering dozens of nude pictures of the Kardashian sisters to media outlets.

Sources have revealed that the snaps had been taken 11years ago when Kim and Kourtney were in their teens.

A representative for Kim has clarified that anybody who tries to publish the photographs will have to face the criminal investigation.

"Any publication that would print these pictures, which are considered child pornography, will be subject to the same criminal investigation as the agency who is attempting," the New York Daily quoted the representative as saying.

Meanwhile, Ford has revealed that he has not entered into any deal regarding the publication of the pictures as yet.

Britney Spears Fans (And Haters) Weigh In On 'Gimme More' Video

Britney Spears must have a list of male fantasies she's trying to run through in her music videos. Naughty schoolgirl, check ("... Baby One More Time"). Flight attendant, check ("Toxic"). And with her latest single, "Gimme More," she's a stripper. The question is, can the pop star still pull it off?

"It really makes you want to strip," Internet celebrity Chris Crocker, a.k.a. the "Leave Britney alone!" guy, said after viewing a sneak peek of a clip for the first single from Spears' November 13 album, which has been given the title Blackout. "I'm really tempted to give everyone in this room a lap dance."

Spears doesn't actually attempt lap dances in the "Gimme More" video — she's mostly dancing near a pole and stripping just a little, with a director's-cut version revealing nearly bare breasts with star-shaped pasties. Though Spears shows more focus than in her VMA performance, her efforts to reclaim sex-symbol status got mixed reviews from fans who got a sneak peek in Santa Monica, California.

"She's taking off her clothes, that's pretty much it," Jacqueline Tulian said. "It's not surprising."
"She wants to be a stripper?" Britney Silvera said. "I like that. Sean Preston's probably right over there in the corner watching: 'Yeah, that's my mama.' Did she just take her shirt off? Britney!"

"It's a great video for the kids," Christian Valencia said (we think sarcastically). "It's a how-to — how to strip."
"She's dancing topless," Soen Tgeratia said. "But it's too conservative. There's no power. Even this does not turn me on. That's it?"

Spears developed the concept for the video and handpicked a first-time director, Jake Sarfaty. But even then, there's not much concept to be had — a brunet Britney strips, a blond Britney watches. So fans wondered why the video for "Gimme More" wasn't more developed, even if they did rate it as being better than her VMA performance of the song.

"Britney, Britney, Britney," Tulian sighed.

"This is not one of those videos she did a lot for," Silvera observed. "They only shoot from one angle. Could they only do it in 10 minutes?"

More like two days.

Crocker, however, thinks the cheap look and simplicity are selling points. "She's proving you don't have to have a very intricate video to have a great video," he said. "It's very '80s. It's not much of a concept. She's just letting them know she's Britney Spears."

Is that enough? Even though the people polled by MTV News are fans, many of them expressed disappointment, calling the lip-syncing too obvious, the hair extensions too fake, the energy level too low.

"She's headed downhill," remarked Adrienne Ocariza.

"She totally screwed herself," Brandon Dickens said.

"This video is not helping," Darwin Ilac said. "She's trying to be sexy goth, but it's not working for her. Christina Aguilera already did this. Sorry, Britney!"

The verdict? They want more. Something, anything more. Crocker suggested the video would have been better had he made a cameo. Valencia wanted someone like T.I. or Lil Mama (who appear on remix versions) to pop up. "See, if she would have thrown T.I. in there, this video would have been much better, honestly," Valencia said. Still, he added, it doesn't matter, because the song is a bona fide hit. "You know what? She could do all this, and people are still going to buy her album. They're not going to drop her because she has a crappy video."

"I'm feeling it," Crocker said. "It's great, because it sends a good message out to teens that you don't have to be really thin to be sexy. It's slamming 'Umbrella' down the block. Watch out, Rihanna. You're not the new Britney anymore. Britney's back."

That may explain why even those who panned the clip asked us, "Can I watch it again?"

Lindsay Lohan Leaves Rehab: Report

Actress was photographed checking out of Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah on Friday, according to People.

According to the magazine, the actress was photographed leaving the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah on Friday afternoon (October 5) after an extensive stay that lasted roughly two months. She was also seen with her father, Michael, who was carrying her suitcases.

"I will be there in her life as best I can but from here on she's going to have a lot of decisions to make on her own," Michael Lohan told People on Friday. "Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best."

"I'm proud of her," Lindsay's mother, Dina, told People on Friday. "She's moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal."

Lindsay and her long-estranged father reportedly met twice while she was at the Utah center, during her third stint of rehab this year. People reported in early September that she had recently seen her dad for the first time since he was released from prison in March. The magazine also reported earlier this month that the actress was due to spend five days with her father at a remote lodge in the Utah mountains as part of her recovery.

The 21-year-old actress entered rehab after being pulled over by police July 24 in Santa Monica, California, and arrested less than two weeks after leaving a rehabilitation facility. She faced five counts, including driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license and possession of narcotics, according to a Santa Monica Police Department spokesperson. TMZ reported that Lohan checked into a facility hours after the arrest; Lohan's attorney, Blair Berk, said in a statement that the actress was "safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care."

On August 23, Lohan caught a break when prosecutors charged her with seven misdemeanors for her two DUI arrests earlier in the year. Escaping more serious felony charges that could have landed her in jail for more than a year, she was charged with two counts each of driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level above .08 percent and being under the influence of cocaine; and one count of reckless driving, according a report from the Los Angeles district attorney's office.

That same day, she struck a plea deal on the misdemeanor DUI and drug charges and was ordered to spend one day in jail, serve 10 days of community service and complete a drug-treatment program. She is also on probation for 36 months, is required to complete an 18-month alcohol-education program, pay hundreds of dollars in fines and finish a three-day county coroner program that will require her to visit a morgue and talk to victims of drunken drivers. She will not have to stand trial.

"It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs," Lohan wrote in a statement released to MTV News. "Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to charges in my case.

People also reports that Lohan is planning to return to acting soon and will start filming the tango movie "Dare to Love Me" in Los Angeles on October 15.
