Paris Hilton denies her karma ever left her standing naked

Paris Hilton's camp insists that the story that her high-handedness came back to bite her when she was left standing in the buff during a Victoria's Secret fashion show is all hogwash.

The story had been spread by Australian model Miranda Kerr, who revealed just how the incident unfolded.

"It was 10 minutes before the start and Paris decided she wanted to do the show. They hadn't allocated her any outfits and they had to find her three," she said earlier.

Show organizers apparently told Hilton that she could select a dress from the collection.

"I was standing by my rack and she goes 'I want that dress,' and she pointed to my dress, my pretty pink dress, the one I was really proud of ... and she stole it. I was just thinking to myself do you want me to hit you over the head with my handbag. I contained myself, it's quite frustrating that someone can come in 10 minutes before the start of the show and steal my dress," she added.

However, the Gunnedah stunner revealed that the karma came back to bite Paris when Naomi Campbell, turned up five minutes before the show closed.

Show organizers thought the supermodel wasn't going to come, so they had to give Hilton's outfit to Campbell.

"Paris is about to walk out for the finale and Naomi walks in, so they rip the dress off Paris, she's standing there naked and they put it on Naomi. I thought, that's karma for you darling," she added.

Paris' camp denies the story though, insisting she was not even at the event.

"She was with Larry King in Las Vegas for a cancer fund-raiser. She helped raise over $100,000 for the event!" the New York Post quoted a source, as saying.

It is also being claimed that the reason Kerr made up the story is because she's till fuming over her break-up with Paris' BFF Brandon Davis.

Jay-Z celebrates 38th birthday with Beyonce in Paris

Jay-Z celebrated his 38th birthday by watching an erotic cabaret show in Paris with girlfriend Beyoncé Knowles.

The hip-hop star arrived in the French capital and checked into the exclusive Le Meurice hotel on Monday (03 Dec 2007), with Beyoncé joining him the following day, Jay-Z's actual birthday.

In the evening, the pair - who spent most of Tuesday morning (04 Dec 2007) in their hotel suite - enjoyed a limo drive around the romantic capital of the world, before heading to L'Avenue for an intimate dinner.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé, 26, then caught the late show at the famous cabaret club le Crazy Horse Paris.

The couple sipped champagne as they watched a troupe of semi-naked women perform the saloon's sensual Forever Crazy Revue in the velvet and mirror adorned venue.

Jay-Z's celebrations are more low-key than last year when Beyoncé reportedly splashed out $3 million for a three-day birthday extravaganza in the Caribbean.

The singer charted two planes to fly 20 of the rapper's closest friends to the paradise island of St. Martin.

The exclusive group - which is said to have included Beyoncé's former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland - relaxed on a private yacht and were treated to a constant supply of champagne and luxury foods.

Pamela Anderson named TV's Sexiest Woman Ever

The former 'Baywatch' star beat a host of other stunning actresses to take the prestigious accolade, in the list compiled by internet service provider AOL.

One AOL writer said of Pammie - who achieved worldwide fame as swimsuit-clad CJ Parker in the hit lifeguard series: "A completely knock-out blonde who wears a bathing suit and bounces around as she saves lives - Pamela Anderson took bodacious to a new level."

Pammie was closely followed in second place by Charlie's Angels star Farrah Fawcett.

Farrah's performance as one of the sexy crime-fighting trio made her an international sex symbol in the 70s, while her trademark 'Fawcett Flicks' hairstyle is still copied by women today.

Lynda Carter, the original Wonder Woman, came third, while another busty blonde, Heather Locklear, took fourth spot.

The top five was rounded off by Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria, who stars as lingerie-loving housewife Gabrielle in the hit US show.

The Spice Girl shuns nightwear so she can feel the soccer star's athletic physique next to her body.

Victoria - who has three sons, eight-year-old Brooklyn, five-year-old Romeo and two-year-old Cruz, with David - said: "I sleep naked. I'm going to be naked if I'm getting in bed with him every night!"

Victoria - who has her own clothing line, DVB, and a 'His' and 'Hers' fragrance line with David - also slammed her celebrity rivals, including Paris Hilton, who she claims have no input into their respective empires.

She added: "There are so many, and I hate the word celebrities, clothing lines and fragrances, and most of them have nothing to do with it."

The 33-year-old style icon, who is currently on the Spice Girls reunion world tour, joked her love of fashion comes from her inner "gayness".

She joked to America's Elle magazine: "I'm so camp! I'm such a gay man trying to get out. I don't give a [bleep] what anybody thinks!"

Victoria graces the cover of the January 2008 edition of the publication, and also appears in a shoot inside the magazine, which was shot in Paris in October.

The Spice Girl is pictured in several high-couture outfits, including a sci-fi inspired silver mini-dress with platform silver shoes and a red-ruffled gown with towering black heels.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to spend Christmas in New Orleans

If home is where your heart is, it is in New Orleans for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the world's most closely followed couple. The couple has admitted as much earlier and has now reiterated the fact by announcing that they will spend Christmas with their children there.

Their work in films and for charities takes them all over the world so it is difficult to associate Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt with one place.

During the year the family camped for protracted periods in New Orleans, Prague, New York and California. Their school going children - Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, nearly three, have attended schools in Prague, New York and California.

Jolie, 32, announced the family's intent to spend Christmas in New York while speaking to Us magazine Monday, December 3, at a press conference addressed by Brad Pitt.

"I'm working on a film, but we'll be back for Christmas time," she said. "We'll be here through Christmas."

Jolie is currently working on The Changeling, directed by Clint Eastwood in Los Angeles. She headlines a cast that also includes John Malkovich.

Interestingly, the couple had spent last Christmas with Colombian refugees in Costa Rica.

New Orleans is special for the couple because Pitt has donated $5 million to the "Make it Right" project which will build 150 affordable and environmentally friendly homes for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Brad was scheduled to start filming for State of Play but opted out of the film recently on account of creative differences over the script. He has been replaced by Australian actor Russell Crowe

Kylie Minogue's UK gigs sell-out in just 30 minutes!

It seems that Kylie Minogue's a rage in the UK, for her eight shows in the nation sold out in just 30 minutes, prompting promoters to add another seven dates.

Fans across Britain frantically chased the 49 pounds tickets on phones and at the four arenas hosting her comeback tour, as they went on sale at 9am.

The tickets were showing up on eBay for up to 400 pounds within hours, reports the Mirror.

The UK leg of the Aussie pop star's 2008 tour now lines up one extra show at Belfast's Odyssey and two extra nights each at Glasgow's SECC, Manchester Arena and London's O2.

Kylie's comeback tour, 'Kylie X2008' is her first world tour since she was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago.

The tour will kick off in Paris on May 6, following which Kylie will jet in for the UK leg of the tour just after she turns 40, starting with Northern Ireland from July 26.

Britney Spears begged K-Fed to join her on her birthday

Britney Spears begged ex-husband Kevin Federline to celebrate her 26th birthday with her on Sunday.

The troubled singer seemed happy as she partied until 4am with pal Paris Hilton, but reportedly made a late-night phone call to Kevin - who currently has full custody of their two sons, Sean Preston, two, and 14-month-old Jayden James - pleading with him to join her.

A source close to the singer told the New York Post newspaper: "She begged him to come out with her. Kevin reminded her that one of them needed to be a parent and take care of the boys. Then she hung up on him. Kevin said she was drinking."

Meanwhile, Britney was almost replaced in her music video for new single 'Pieces of Me'.

Jive Records were left furious after the troubled singer failed to turn up for the shoot, and threatened to give the $500,000 set to new singer Samantha Jade to use for her own video.

A Jive Records insider said: "Britney was supposed to shoot a video for her song 'Pieces of Me' last week. Jive hired Wayne Isham to direct, had all the dancers there - hair, make-up and everything. But she refused to come. Jive was really upset.

"They were going to use it for another Jive artist, Samantha Jade, because it was too expensive to just scrap. But Britney finally showed up 12 hours late when she realized a new, younger, hotter girl would take her slot."

Britney Spears celebrated her 26th birthday in the company of cousin Alli Sims and former BFF Paris Hilton.

The celebrations started at a private party, a Scandinavian themed fashion event Saturday, December 1, in Bel Air, CA.

The Scandinavian Mansion Of Style party was hosted by Sharon Stone and attended by Paris Hilton among others.

Britney was attired in a trashy black mini dress that covered less than it revealed though her body tone looked a lot better than in the past.

The 'Toxic' singer was given a generous collection of gifts at the party, including $30,000 worth of fur coats, a $10,000 diamond and gold ring, as well as $4,000 worth of Barito brand sunglasses and various T-shirts and hair products.

Short of midnight a chocolate birthday cake decorated with strawberries and candles was brought out and presented to Britney as everyone sang Happy Birthday.

Britney left shortly afterwards in the early hours of Sunday, her birthday. She was seen off by Paris as she rode back to the Four Seasons hotel where she has been camping lately.

Accompanying her on the ride back were her manager Sam Lufti, a driver and a hunk she met at the event.

Later at the Four Seasons, Britney, Paris, Sam and Alli continued the birthday celebrations on the balcony of Britney's penthouse. Britney was seen sipping champagne and the revelers posed for photogs.

Angelina Jolie and son Maddox

Angelina Jolie and six-year-old son Maddox watched Brad Pitt speak about the first phase of his "Make it Right" project at a press conference in the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans Monday, December 3, morning.

Under the project, for which Pitt has donated $5 million, 150 affordable and environmentally friendly homes are being built for Hurricane Katrina victims.

"The families of New Orleans need the help of families across America this holiday season," Pitt said at the event. "We are asking Americans this holiday season to go to our website www.makeitrightnola.org and send a contribution that will help us rebuild homes for these families -- and rebuild their lives."

Brad Pitt recently opted out of the film State of Play, the screen adaptation of the British television miniseries, following creative differences over the script. He has been replaced by Australian actor Russell Crowe

Other stars in the film by Scottish director Kevin Macdonald's ("The Last King of Scotland" (2006)) include Edward Norton, Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman and Robin Wright Penn.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has slammed cruel comments about her fuller figure, saying she "loves her body".

The 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' actress - who was ridiculed for her curvy shape after unflattering photos of her in a bikini were released last week - insists she is happy being a US size two and attacked the Hollywood obsession with an unhealthy size zero.

Jennifer - who appeared much slimmer in a recent ad campaign for US clothing chain Hanes - fumed: "Size two is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size zero doesn't make you beautiful.
"I know what I look like and so do my friends and family. And like all women out there should, I love my body."

The 28-year-old star - who was enjoying a romantic break in Hawaii with her new fiancé actor Ross McCall when the pictures were taken - also encouraged women to embrace their shape and be proud of their curves.

She added on her MySpace page: "I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image.

"To all the girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini - put it on and stay strong."

Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy back together

Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy have decided to give their relationship another chance, but it seems that the blonde Zimbabwean doesn't want to stay in Britain.

The couple separated after a series of rows last month. The main reason being that Chelsy was fed up with 23-year-old Harry's excessive drinking and lack of commitment.

She had also been upset when Harry snubbed her 22nd birthday party to watch the Rugby World Cup final in France in October.

After the two had their heart-to-hearts talk, they decided to give their relationship another go.

However, the reunion is still on shaky grounds, as it seems the Zimbabwean-born heiress, wants to return back to South Africa.

Chelsy is at the moment not enjoying studying law and is depressed by the cold in Leeds.

"Their relationship is not the problem - it's Leeds," Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

"Chelsy does not like the law course and is unhappy there and it is touch and go whether she will return to South Africa. They are both trying to work out a solution," the source added.

To make matters worse, security concerns have meant that Harry has been able to visit her only once since she arrived in the city in September.

The one option for Chelsy, is to transfer to a university in London, but she has decided to wait till after Christmas before making any decisions.

She will be flying home to South Africa once her term ends on Dec 07.

Actress Nicole Kidman has credited her husband Keith Urban for giving her life a purpose.

The Aussie actress said she had been going through a depressing time and had turned to acting to battle her feelings of depression.

"Actually, I'm not that interested in working right now. I think that a lot of my wish to work was about wanting to get lost, not wanting to be in the world," she told Times Online.

However the Moulin Rouge star added that she felt fulfilled only after she met the country music star.

"I have a reason to be in the world now and that reason is Keith," she added.

Ashley Olsen dating 'Sweet Alabama' star Josh Lucas

The 21-year-old Olsen twin - who was recently romantically linked to 36-year-old cycling champion Lance Armstrong - was seen "all over" Josh, who is also 15 years her senior, at the opening of New York's New Museum on Wednesday (28 Nov 2007).

A source said: "They were meant to be watching one of the acts but they were cuddling up instead. She was all over him."

Lance was also present, sparking rumors Ashley's public display of affection was an attempt to make him jealous.

Meanwhile, Ashley's twin Mary-Kate was spotted out partying in another New York venue on the same night, just nine days after being admitted to hospital with a "kidney infection".

Mary-Kate was seen living it up at the Bowery Hotel party for new SoHo store Billion Dollar Boys Club and then headed to the Beatrice Inn, where she danced until 3am.

One witness said: "She looked fine to me."

Lindsay Lohan tried to sell photographs of family Thanksgiving dinner?

The 'Mean Girls' actress offered staged pictures of her with mother Dina, sister Ali, her brothers and boyfriend Riley Giles celebrating the holidays to several celebrity magazines.

She initially demanded a six-figure sum, but eventually dropped the price to $20,000 when she failed to find a buyer.

A source told MSNBC: "She thinks she's a huge star. She thinks everyone is dying to read about her, but she's lost her fan base. Her decisions are being driven by cash, not repairing her image."
Lindsay, 21, reportedly failed to sell the pictures, but made some money from her family shopping trip to New York's Armani Exchange and Intermix store on November 23.

It is claimed Lindsay tipped off the paparazzi she would be there and was paid to visit the clothing store.

The source added: "It seems like everything Lindsay does is to make money."

Last month, it was claimed the troubled star - who completed treatment in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction and served a prison sentence for DUI (driving under the influence) - is broke after blowing her $7 million fortune on drugs and partying.

Meanwhile, Lindsay has reportedly dumped boyfriend Riley.

The couple - who met at Utah's Sundance rehab clinic in August - are said to have split shortly after they returned to Los Angeles on November 25, after their Thanksgiving break.

A source said: "She made it pretty clear when they got home that it was over. She got tired of him pouting all the time.

"It was fine when they were in Utah, just the two of them. But then they returned to Los Angeles and Lindsay was shooting a movie, photographers followed them everyone, she had meetings with this agent, that publicist, this director. His ego couldn't take it."

Lindsay's friends are allegedly glad she has ditched him as they were unimpressed by the Utah snowboarder.

The source added to E! Online: "They thought he was unsophisticated and told her she should have left him in Utah with his snowboard.

"He never paid. We know Lindsay is the rich and famous one, but come on. Be the man once in a while! Pay for a round of cokes. I mean, they weren't even drinking alcohol, so how much could a round of cokes be?"

Tara Reid set to turn 'hooker' for wet T-shirt contest!

Hollywood actress Tara Reid will be hosting a Hooker's Ball in Australia on Dec 2.

Apparently, the ‘American Pie’ star is going to dress up as a prostitute and judge a wet T-shirt contest at the event at Darwin's Discovery nightclub.

Hospitality manager Guy Dunne said the party would be a ‘naughty’ one, and Reid would be the perfect choice of the bash’s host.

"We thought Tara Reid would be a great choice. It’s a very naughty night and an opportunity to put your inhibitions down,” The Sun quoted him, as saying.

"It's a night like your 'pimps and prostitutes' or sleaze balls, and it's just a night of less is best,” he said.

Eva Mendes gets naked 'fur' PETA

Eva Mendes joined a growing list of celebrities who have posed naked for PETA to discourage the use of fur because it results in cruelty to animals.

In her interview with PETA, Eva says, "I want people to know that there are options-that killing a poor animal and wearing it isn't cool ... respecting all life forms is cool."

Recounting how she became aware of the cruelty associate with the use of fur Mendes said, "I remember having my first premiere in New York City and being so naïve that I didn't have a coat with me. My stylist sent me a ... fur wrap for the evening, and I ignorantly wore it. PETA then wrote me a beautiful letter commenting on my less-than-educated choice. I was so impressed that I vowed to them and myself to NEVER wear real fur on the red carpet or in my life again."

Mendes, 32, is ranked #7 by Maxim in its 2007 Hot 100 issue and also features on the cover of the November 2007 issue of the magazine.

'Posh asked me to give her hips in outfits': Roberto Cavalli

Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has revealed that Victoria Beckham asked him to "give her hips" in the outfits he designed for the Spice Girls' comeback tour.

The Fashion supremo, who designed outfits for the band's reunion tour said that the 33-year-old singer "was the most daring".

"She wanted to experiment, to surprise and be different. Her only request was that we give her hips," Cavalli told Grazia magazine.

He said that he had met each one of the Spice Girls personally to know their personality.

"I met each one on their own so I could get an idea of their personality," he said.

"I asked them about their bodies, what they wanted to show and hide, and we talked about how they had evolved in the years since they were Spice Girls," he added.

He also made them view his archives and asked what they wanted to wear.

Geri Halliwell wanted to show off her toned body while new mother Emma Bunton wanted all covered up, he revealed.

"We updated Geri's iconic Union Jack dress into a corseted Swarovski crystal-studded mini dress," he said.

Melanie C wanted to be more rock chick than sporty, he added.

Cavalli further revealed that Mel B was very assertive with the outfits.

Jessica, who has lately been linked to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, is reported to have taken a lip injection last week, something her rep denies.

We are inclined to believe the rep. However, there is no denying that Jessica's lips look larger than life in the close-up above, admittedly something that could attributed to clever makeup.

Renee Zellweger flashes some serious leg

London rain and the design of her sparkly polka dot floor length Carolina Herrera dress conspired to force Renee Zellweger to flash a lot more leg than we believe she intended to, at the premiere of Bee Movie in London Thursday, December 6.

The strapless chiffon gown with solid black lining inside had a long split riding upto her thigh and a big bow diagonally placed on the waist.

A big diamond ring on the index finger of her left hand was her only adornment. Her short crop hair looked chic as did her black Jimmy Choo leather slingback high heel sandals with criss cross strap.

The full leg length flash occurred once because of a gust of wind and then again when she bent forward to rearrange the soaking wet dress.

Fortunately for everyone the excellent tone of her legs made everyone around feel sorry the faux-pas was unintended but glad it happened.

Taking the skin show in her stride the 38-year-old explained that it happened because her dress was "soaking wet" and "weighs another six stones."

However, Renee was not amused when the press harped on the tabloid theme that she had recently lost her curves.

"Are you telling me my curves are absent? I think I am doing very well, thank you very much," Daily Mail quotes her as saying.

"I don't have a fitness regime as such, it is more of a lifestyle thing. It is about keeping my sanity."

Jennifer Garner with daughter Violet

Jennifer Garner, spent some quality time with daughter Violet at a playground in Central Park in New York City Friday, November 30, one day before Violet's 2nd birthday.

Violet frolicked on the swings and played peek-a-boo, running after her stylish and charming 35-year-old, mother gleefully saying, "I found you!"

Garner wore boot cut jeans in light blue color, a black notch collar wool topcoat with a cashmere gray scarf wrapped around the neck and grey running shoes.

Afterwards, the mother and daughter grabbed a quick bite.

Its hard for anyone of us to recall how it feels being tucked into bed by your parents one day before your 2nd birthday but we are sure it comes close to being the happiest you will ever be in your life.

Now that the writer's strike has been called off, Garner will be back playing Roxanne in Cyrano de Bergerac at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway. The show opened on November 1.

"I am so happy that it's over," Jennifer told Access Hollywood. "It was devastating to miss doing the show we had just opened. The audience was having the best time and to just, 'OK! Now we are not doing it for the next couple of weeks,' was the strangest feeling."

Jennifer Garner stars in the thriller The Kingdom running in theatres worldwide, as part of the ensemble cast that includes Jamie Foxx and Jason Bateman.

JR Rotem confirmed Britney pregnancy in a text message

In Touch weekly has released photos of text messages they received from on-again / off-again Britney paramour JR Rotem, in which the record producer confirmed that Britney Spears is pregnant with his baby.

From the photos it appears that when asked if Britney was pregnant, JR responded, “It’s true.”
When asked whether she would keep the baby, his response was:

"No clue on what she will do. She is unpredictable."

J.R. Rotem subsequently told People, "There is absolutely no truth to this."

Britney’s camp also denied the story.

However, Britney confidant Sam Lufi told People, "It's just BS. Big Lie."

Britney herself denied the story Wednesday, November 28, with a text message to Ryan Seacrest that said, “It's B.S, I don't know who made it up. J.R. doesn't even know what's up. It's fake, completely fake.”

Rehabbed actress Lindsay Lohan enjoyed a few drinks during her Thanksgiving visit to New York, sources allege.

"She has been drinking a little bit. Over her week in New York, she did have a few drinks," the New York Daily News quoted a source close to the actress, as saying.

The source, however, insisted that Lohan’s alcohol intake was in moderation.

"For Lindsay, her real problem was drugs, not alcohol. In the past, it wasn't the drinking that was the problem - it was the heavy drug use," said the source.

"The drug use was way more intense than her party drinking. As long as she isn't doing drugs, she's okay," the source added.

However, a spokeswoman for Lohan has assailed claims of liquor consumption by the actress.

"These so-called friends are making up things about her," she said.

Vanessa Hudgens was desperate to audition for American Idol

Singer-turned-actress Vanessa Hudgens has revealed that she was desperate to audition for American Idol but gave up the desire after signing up for the teen movie 'High School Musical'.

The 18-year-old actress said that, in 2004 she was too young to follow her reality TV talent dream, as the minimum age required for auditioning was 16 years.

And, in the meanwhile, a role in the Disney teen movie franchise appeared and she jumped at the offer.

"I was 15 at the time ... and you had to be 16 to audition. So I thought, 'One more year,’" she told Daily Telegraph.

"Then, when I turned 16, High School Musical came along and I got to do it. So I thought I'd skip on American Idol," she added.
