Beyoncé Knowles, bursting out of her ample self in a sequined bareback mini dress with a plunging neckline, still managed to look gorgeous at the opening of 40/40 Club at the Palazzo Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, NV, Sunday, December 30.
The upscale Sports Bar and Lounge is owned by Beyoncé beau Jay-Z.
It wasn't the best choice of dress for the 26-year-old singer, not just because it threatened a wardrobe malfunction anytime but, because it accentuated the undesirable curves that the singer has now acquired.
Anyway, we know Beyoncé likes to be squeezed by her dresses and if nothing else they keep her on her toes continually adjusting them so that she doesn't pop out of them.
Her fluffy hair do added to the impression that there was more width than height to the ensemble.
We loved her strappy silver sandals though which combined with her soft makeup gave her an ethereal look.
The silver oval dangle earrings and a silver charm bracelet seemed just the right amount of jewelry.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted shopping for their brood at Pippen Lane, Magazine St., baby store in New Orleans, Friday, December 28.
The couple is camping with their four children at their New Orleans home for the holidays.
This is the second celebrity we are seeing in those wide cut white pants which look like pajamas and make you feel cold just because they look so summery.
Katie Holmes wore it with her standout red trench coat, on the morning following her birthday (December 17), while leaving the prestigious Raffles L'Ermitage hotel in Beverly Hills along with Tom.
But here we have to give it to Jolie for matching it with a smart black wool walking coat and black skimmer flats.
Her well groomed hair and aviator sunglasses lent a classy touch to the uber casual look.

'High School Musical' co-stars and friends Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens were seen sharing some quality time together in Los Angeles Wednesday, December 26.
They were spotted at Fred Segal and then at the Hollywood and Highland shopping centre where they stopped by Louis Vuitton.
Vanessa wore black pick stitching skinny jeans, a green silk top under a long sleeve, ribbed shawl collar and ribbed asymmetric front gray cashmere cardigan with black velvet flexi toe cut out skimmer flats. She matched her casual outfit with some light gold jewelry.
The 19-year-old seems to have developed a passion for expensive designer handbags. She was spotted carrying a beautiful patent leather black shoulder bag with golden metal shells that dotted the exterior of the bag.
Ashley, 22, was attired in blue denim jeans, a half buttoned-up white collar shirt over a gray ribbed tank and golden thong sandals.
She complemented her stylish but casual look with a tennis cap with her initial 'A' inscribed at its back.

Stylishly attired in business casuals Katie Holmes shopped at Maxfields in West Hollywood, CA, Friday, December 21.
Katie Holmes looking as if she has come from a power meeting dressed very stylish and chic as she heads to her car with the usual security after shopping at Maxfields in West Hollywood, CA.
Katie exuded confidence and charm dressed in a black tweed skirt with an inverted pleat in the front and two side pockets, a white turtleneck long sleeve cashmere sweater and high heeled red suede stiletto pumps. She carried a red leather tote bag and wore dark shades.
She seems to have a special attachment to the long silver pearl necklace that she is seen wearing in the photo above. She had worn it earlier on Wednesday morning while leaving the Raffles L'Ermitage Hotel In Beverly Hills, Ca, with Tom, on their way to the Scientology Celebrity Center.
Did Tom gift her the necklace on her 29th birthday, December 18, 2007.

Katharine McPhee glams up for Christmas
American Idol runner up 2006, Katharine McPhee, who always had good looks and a sweet voice, has now acquired style and sartorial taste befitting a fashion icon.
The 23-year-old Californian was seen shopping at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, for some leather boots Wednesday, December 19.
McPhee was snugly but stylishly attired in a knit black trapeze dress and black leggings over which she wore a black three-button front closure long knit coat.
Her hair looked tidy in a pony tail and she wore light make-up. She glammed up the ensemble with trendy knee high beige leather boots and a beige leather shoulder bag.
McPhee was voted No 2 on FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in The World 2007 and it is easy to see why.
She will make her studio acting debut as a pregnant hippie in a comedy titled I Know What Boys Like directed by Fred Wolf.
The film stars Anna Faris and additionally features Rumer Willis, Emma Stone and Colin Hanks.

They left in the morning amidst some chaos as around 40 photogs jostled to get their photo.

The stunning actress, who is married to Tom Cruise, has topped a poll conducted by America's OK! magazine to find the most fashionable celebrity.
In recent months, Katie has transformed herself from her tomboy Dawson's Creek character Joey Potter into a sleek fashionista who is never uncomfortable on the red carpet.
One OK writer said: "Katie Holmes has matured from teen queen into a pillar of fashion. This year her style was developed and fine-tuned so much so that she came to be viewed in the same realm as legends like Jackie O, helping her cruise beyond the shadow of her husband and into an iconic realm of her own."
Katie was closely followed in second place by Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl thanks to her "natural and timeless beauty."
Gwen Stefani - who is renowned for her unique sense of style and has found success with her own fashion line L.A.M.B - came third, while 33-year-old supermodel Kate Moss took fourth spot.

Tom Cruise is in danger of going broke if he does not control his wild spending, it has been claimed.
The Top Gun star - whose estimated fortune is $250 million -enjoys splashing his cash so much sources close to the actor fear he could squander it all.
A source said: "Tom is really into money. He has no problem spending it. It makes him feel powerful. He loves to brag about his Porsches, his homes, his planes and his motorcycles.
"When Tom takes Katie out, he has his security people hand $100 bills to anyone who helps them, even someone who opens a door! He's a big giver."
The 45-year-old actor and wife Katie Holmes have a 20-month-old daughter Suri together, and Tom also has two adopted children, Connor, 12, and 14-year-old Isabella with his ex-wife Nicole Kidman, who stand to inherit his fortune.
As well as funding his lavish lifestyle of expensive meals and shopping sprees for Katie and Suri, Tom also spends a vast amount of money running his four private planes.
Last year, he spent a staggering $1 million on fuel alone.

Jake Gyllenhaal takes Reese Witherspoon's children hiking
The couple took turns holding hands with the actress' two children - daughter Ava, eight, and four-year-old son Deacon - as they walked around a Malibu park on December 30.
A source said: "Reese's kids have really taken a shine to Jake. They were laughing and joking with him and Reese. At one point, Jake even carried Deacon on his shoulders as they hiked along a trail. They all looked very happy together."
This is not the first time Jake has shown his commitment to Reese and her kids.
Jake, 27, accompanied the Oscar-winning actress and her children trick or treating last Halloween.
The couple waited on the sidewalk and flirted while Deacon and Ava - whose father is actor Ryan Phillippe - collected candy.
A source said: "Jake tapped Reese on the butt and then she hit him back - they began running round in a circle and were hitting each other! Then Jake picked Reese up off her feet and she screamed."
Reese and Jake met on the set of their film Rendition last year but did not go public with their romance until October.

Eddie's performance in 'Norbit' - in which he played three different characters - earned him the unwanted accolade, while Lindsay's portrayal of a stripper in thriller 'I Know Who Killed Me' gave her the worst actress title, in the poll conducted for website AOL Moviefone.
Norbit also topped a list of movies which were the 'biggest waste of $10'.

It seems that Britney Spears and Paris Hilton are welcoming 2008 with a bitter bitch fight - the two are planning to launch their own chains of Las Vegas strip clubs.
Britney, who is annoyed with the hotel heiress for flirting with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, has been in secret talks about a 40million pounds project to open her chain of strip clubs across Sin City.
However, after learning about the pop star's plans, Paris has decided to beat Spears to the punch by opening her chain of strip clubs in Las Vegas.
"Britney was excited about this project for months and is really pissed with Paris that things have come to this. And that's even before she heard Paris has been partying with Kevin," the Daily Star quoted a source, as saying.
"Britney has always thought of stripping as a bit like art - as a skill. So when some Vegas-based developers approached her about investing money into three exclusive strip joints, which she wants to call Toxic Heaven, she jumped at the chance.
"But then Paris heard about the plans through her younger sister Nicky, who is a hotelier, and jumped on the bandwagon.
"She wanting to open her own strip joints, calling them Shagadillic. Paris is now in talks with business developers about the idea and wants to involve Nicky to keep it within the family. She thinks they can trounce Britney," the source added.

Paris Hilton cozying up to Britney Spears' ex Kevin Federline
The hotel heiress, who has become good friends with Britney after partying with her several times this year, was seen laughing and joking with Kevin at Las Vegas' LAX nightclub on Saturday (29 Dec 2007).
A source said: "Kevin and Paris were having fun. He kept shouting out her name and gave her a kiss on the cheek and then whispered something in her ear. It looked as though they were getting quite friendly."
Britney was reportedly furious after seeing photographs of Paris and Kevin together at the weekend.
This isn't the first time Britney has felt betrayed by one of her friends recently.
Lindsay Lohan is said to have upset the 'Toxic' singer by dating Britney's ex-lover music producer J.R. Rotem.
Although Kevin seemed to be enjoying himself with Paris, he was left red-faced after deciding to grab a microphone and rap to the crowd.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com: "Kevin tried his best, but all he did was spew a loud, heaping load of annoyance. Clubgoers were fleeing for the exit once he started."
Meanwhile, Kevin's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan has revealed he is determined to depose Britney in the New Year.
Kaplan said: "Britney Spears will have her deposition early this year. We've got a lot to talk about. Kevin isn't interested, nor am I, in punishing her. We just want to get information necessary to proceed further."
Britney missed a scheduled deposition in December over the custody of the couple's two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, after claiming she was ill. Kaplan also said Kevin had a "happy" Christmas with Sean Preston and Jayden James, his ex-lover Shar Jackson and their two children Kori and Kaleb.
Kaplan added to People magazine: "It was a good Christmas for all. They were great. Kevin had all of his kids and it was a big, wonderful family setting. He was really happy, and the kids were happy."

Rihanna says fame has made her lonely and unhappy
The 'Umbrella' singer revealed her rise to success has been painful as she has been exposed to the "dark" side of celebrity.
Rihanna said: "Fame is lonely. At first, I was on an adrenaline high - this is my dream. I'm actually doing it, it didn't phase me that I was alone, that I wasn't with the people I love. But after a while it gets repetitive and that is when you think,'Oh wow, I am sitting in a hotel room once again, just me and the television.'
"When you are in the spotlight, people are like, 'What do you have to worry about?' They forget that the success is one great aspect of your life, but behind that there are problems, there are dark sides, there is loneliness and unhappiness."
The 19-year-old star also admits she has struggled to make true friends in the music business because she can't trust any one.
She added: "In this business people are shallow, they are dishonest. You can't trust them.
"I have always had a thing for reading people. When I come into contact with a situation or a person, the first thing I do is just sit quiet for a little while. I sit and watch you.
"It really helps me to understand how to play the game, and sometimes you have to play it. It is a game that really sucks."

Angelina Jolie reveals her motherhood fears
Looking at 'Tomb Raider' actress Angelina Jolie, one finds it hard to believe that she could be afraid of anything. However, there was one thing that had sent fear into her heart.
Believe it or not, it was not the fear of Jennifer Aniston, but of motherhood.
"I was always considered so dark and I thought maybe I shouldn't be someone's mom because I'm not so sure about it myself-am I going to be the best mom?" she told the Sunday Express about her frame of mind back in 2002 when she went to Cambodia to adopt her first child.
But when she held her son in her arms, that fear began to subside.
"They put him [Maddox] in my arms and I stared at him and I started crying and he smiled. I hadn't held children before in my life," she said.
"The fact that this little kid seemed so at ease gave me the courage to feel I could make him happy and so we became a family," she added.
Angelina and Pitt have since added two more adopted kids, and also one very genetically gifted biological daughter, to their clan.

She followed that up with trips to Starbuck and gas stations with a lot of reckless driving in between before heading home at around 11 PM.
She came back from home later in the night to pick up discounted merchandise from Virgin Megastore on Sunset Blvd. which is closing down.
She then picked up Adnan, who reportedly makes $200,000/- a year stalking Britney, from Malibu and took him to her Bel Air house.

Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale shopping at Beverley Hills
Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale seem to bank upon each other's shopping tips. The two friends and High School Musical co-stars were seen at Lisa Kline in Beverly Hills, CA, Saturday, December 30.
The two have been frequently spotted shopping together over the holidays. On Wednesday, December 26, we spotted them at Fred Segal and then at the Hollywood and Highland shopping centre where they stopped by Louis Vuitton.
We know Hudgens is used to being lensed but Tisdale, on Saturday, didn't look too happy and considering the amount of money she makes it couldn't have been because she found the price tags at Lisa Kline beyond her reach.
Maybe she was imagining that all cameras are focused on her re-sculpted nose?

Pregnant actress Jessica Alba has some words of wisdom for young girls who are in a relationship.
In a recent interview for CosmoGIRL magazine, which also features the actress on the cover page, Alba said that young girls should wait for at least a year before succumbing to their partners’ wishes.
"Most guys, especially when they're younger, really are only after one thing. To all the girls out there, I don't want to say, 'Don't give your heart to somebody like that,' But wait at least a good year,” People quoted her, as telling the mag.
“You can be in a relationship and do some things, have fun, get to know each other – but don't give them everything,” she added.
Addressing the issue more seriously, the 26-year-old actress cited her own example, saying that she also committed the same mistake as a youngster.
"That was something I did at a young age, fell in love and gave him my everything, and I was left with nothing,” she said.
“It took me a long time to put myself back together, and I wish someone would have told me back them to hang on to some of myself,” she added.

Milo Ventimiglia comes clean on dating Hayden Panettiere
Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia has finally confessed that he is dating co-star Hayden Panettiere.
The pair were rumored to be dating, but always dismissed romance reports, saying they were just good friends.
According to reports, the 30-year-old actor announced he and Panettiere were dating when he toasted the 18-year-old at a pre-Christmas Water Grill party in Los Angeles.
According to sources, Ventimigila told co-stars that he was dating Panettiere and even told her he loved her.
"He called her his girlfriend and said that he loved her," The Sun quoted an eyewitness, as saying.

8 in 10 Brits happy to see Kate Middleton as future Queen
After getting a nod from the royal circles, Prince William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton has also been approved by the British public, for 80 per cent of Brits think that the 25-year-old would be a good addition to the Royal Family.
In a new poll for Discovery Channel, Prince William was voted as the top choice for the next monarch, which logically means that people want Kate to be queen.
William was most popular among the 18 to 24 year-olds, with 70 percent wanting him to rule.
The survey of 1,004 people also revealed that most young people would like to keep the monarchy, despite over half of them saying that the Royals do not provide value for money.
However, Prince Charles’ wife and William's stepmother, Camilla received less support from the public, with less than half of the country saying she was a good ambassador for the Royal Family.
Almost 70 percent of people said they still had more respect for Princess Diana than Charles' new wife.
“Camilla is still facing an uphill struggle for public acceptance,” The Sun quoted former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, as saying.

Michelle Rodriguez spending jail time with general population
Michelle Rodriguez is serving her time in California's Lynwood jail just like other inmates.
Unlike some of the other A-listers who got a preferential treatment, the former Lost star is spending her nights on a bunk bed in a common area where 183 other general prisoners sleep.
"Michelle is one tough cookie and can handle general population just fine,” the New York Post quoted a source, as saying.
“She is participating in the inmate worker program, serving food and doing other jobs as assigned.
“Michelle has been extremely cooperative and professional and doesn't want to use her celebrity status to get special privileges," the source added.
Rodriguez was sentenced to 180-days in jail after violating her probation on drink driving and hit-and-run offences.

Angelina Jolie rubs caviar into her skin to look young
The 32-year-old actress, who is dating Brad Pitt, is said to be worried the veins in her arms, hands and forehead have become more visible because of the amount of weight she has lost in recent months.
To combat the problem, Angelina has started having a special £200-a-time beauty treatment which uses a cream made from the eggs of the Baerii sturgeon - which is reared on farms in the South of France to produce the culinary delicacy of fish eggs.
The treatment, which can last up to three hours, involves the actress being wrapped up in tight bandages so her body sweats out toxins before she is slathered in the youth-restoring body cream - which claims to fight "slackened skin and loss of firmness".
The high oil and protein content of the sturgeon eggs is believed to be very good for the skin.
As well as the full body treatments, Angelina is also having lengthy facials using caviar-based moisturizers made by cosmetic company La Prairie.
