George Clooney Gets Political

Spotted out on his Harley-Davidson hog yesterday, George Clooney has a lot on his mind as of late. With the Oscars coming up, he stands to go home a winner.

But that’s not the most important thing in the “Ocean’s Thirteen” actor’s world. He’s flexing his political muscle by getting behind Democratic candidate Barack Obama.

Clooney told press, “I’ve never been around anything like [Barack] Obama. I’ve never seen anyone speak like that.” Although, given Hilary Clinton’s 3% edge on Obama as of Super Tuesday, George may want to rethink things.

The “Michael Clayton” actor just returned from a UN Goodwill Ambassador mission to Africa. He told press, “I’ve spent the last two and a half weeks in the middle of hell. We were in Chad three days before the rebels overtook it.”

Natasha Bedingfield Gets Busy at Atlantis

Natasha Bedingfield has been spending ime at the Atlantis resort in Paradise Island

When it comes to luxurious Caribbean vacations, it’s hard to beat the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas. Just ask Natasha Bedingfield… she’s been there all week.

The “Pocketful of Sunshine” singer started her week off right grabbing some sun in her bikini during the Pop Rocks concerts at the Atlantis Resort.

She also took some time out to get to know an underwater friend a bit better. The “Unwritten” singer took a swim with a dolphin at Dolphin City in Atlantis.

Then, yesterday, the British songbird performed at a jam session in the $25,000 per night Bridge Suite at her resort. And she looked plenty sexy, showing off her tight abs in a rolled-up t-shirt.

Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley burglarized whi out shopping for home furnishings

You’d think that with the constant paparazzi attention, celebrities would be safe from harm. But you’d be wrong. Yesterday, Katherine Heigl and her hubby Josh Kelley were the victims of a burglary that happened just outside their Hollywood Hills home.
When the newlyweds walked to their car, they were shocked to see a window busted out of their car, with their GPS navigation system missing.

Josh commented, “thieves suck” as he cleaned up the broken glass with tubesock-covered hands. From there, it was off to their new pad, which is still under renovation.
After checking on their new house, Katherine and Josh grabbed a bite to eat at a local restaurant with Katherine’s mother before stopping at McDonalds on their way home.

Post-Pregnancy Christina Aguilera Steps Out

Christina Aguilera attended a DVD signing event at BestBuy, went to vote for her presidential

A mere three weeks after giving birth to her son Max, Christina Aguilera was spotted out and about yesterday showing the world what a hot mama she truly is.

First, the “Dirrty” singer was seen at the Beverly Terrace Hotel in Los Angeles, California submitting her Super Tuesday vote for who will be the 2008 presidential candidates.

After doing her patriotic duty, the “Genie in a Bottle” mommy headed over to Best Buy to promote the release of her new DVD set ‘Back to Basics: Live and Down Under.’

She told press that motherhood has changed her perspective on her musical career. “This whole incredible thing that’s taken part in my life, between the pregnancy and the birth, I’ve got so much to be inspired about and so much in my life to write about. I’ve been brain-storming for the last nine months, actually. This next album will have a whole new me, so there’s a lot to look forward to.”

Heather Graham wore a see throw top to the G Star Fashion show in New York city

As Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City rages on, the celebrity presence in the Big Apple has been overwhelming. And Heather Graham was certainly not one to be left out this season.

The “Boogie Nights” actress has been laying low lately, but surprisingly showed her face at Gotham Hall to attend the G Star fashion show.

Graham wore a show-stopping combination of a sheer, see-through top over a black bra with a denim skirt, black leather boots and a trench coat.

For some reason, the “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me” actress had a blank stare as she posed for the paparazzi. Of course, all those flashbulbs can get pretty annoying!

Red Carpet glamour at Britain's BAFTA Awards

Stars from around the world attended the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards 2008 (BAFTA) at London's Royal Opera house, Sunday, February 10.

The awards assumed added significance this year because the Hollywood writer's strike stripped the Golden Globes, which traditionally rank next to the Oscars, to a mere press event.

Those present at the awards ceremony included Keira Knightly, Sienna Miller, Jessica Biel, Kate Hudson, Eva Green, Emily Blunt, Victoria Silvestedt, Tilda Swinton, Rosamund Pike, Natassia Malthe and Natascha McElhone among others.

Daniel Day-Lewis was named Best Actor for his role in There Will Be Blood, and French actress Marion Cotillard took the Best Actress award home for La Vie En Rose, in which she played singer Edith Piaf.

Atonement, which had been nominated in 14 categories, was named the best film but managed just one more award in the Production Design category.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes drew the maximum attention at the 'Celebration of The Broad Contemporary Art Museum' at LACMA in Los Angeles, CA Saturday, February 11.

Katie Holmes looked stunning in an ivory strapless gown with ruched waist and gathered skirt. She had a black chiffon scarf tied around her neck in a bow with one of the short ends resting on her bare shoulders and the other end merging with the tail of her dress. She matched the dress with thick golden ankle strap sandals.

Katie toyed with a new look, successfully we believe, with her hair slicked back and a side parting, instead of her signature bob.

Tom looked regal in a grey suit over a white dress shirt and a black undercoat.

Other stars attending included Dustin Hoffman and celebrities Petra Nemcova, Nicole Richie.

Music-mogul Davis, chief executive of RCA Music Group hosted a 2008 pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, CA, Saturday, February 9, that drew top rating celebrities from different walks of like, not just music.

Rubbing shoulders at the black-tie gala were tennis star Serena Williams, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, actress Raquel Welch, comedian Bill Maher, novelist Jackie Collins, the New York Giants' Michael Strahan and actor Jon Voight among others.

Celebrities from the world of entertainment included Alicia Keys, Ashanti, Ashlee Simpson, Carrie Underwood, Chris Hatcher, Ditta Von Teese, Fergie, Janet Jackson, Jordin Sparks, Lisa Rinna, Lindsay Lohan, Natasha Bedingfield, Paula Abdul, Rihanna and Whitney Houston.

Miley Cyrus and Rihanna at Grammy 'Salute to Fashion'

Young teen singing sensations Miley Cyrus and Rihanna riveted attention in short dresses at the In Style and The Recording Academy first ever Grammy 'Salute to Fashion' event at Hollywood nightclub Boulevard 3, Thursday, February 7.

A 10 minute fashion show during the evening featured collections by six musicians: Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Sean Combs, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Simpson. None of the designers were present at the show.

While Rihanna is already a recognized style icon, Miley is fast getting into the act of becoming one.

The 15-year-old Hannah Montana star, who has now officially changed her name from Destiny Hope Cyrus to Miley Ray Cyrus, was dressed rather seductively, if you may, in a black mini Dolce & Gabbana sleeveless sequined dress with multi color flower patterns.

She had left her long dark straight hair open. Wearing dark eye makeup and ankle strap stilettos she managed to look grown up.

When asked if she could spend a day in anyone's stilettos, whose would she chose? "Beyonce!" said Miley Cyrus. "Her fashion is different. It's out there and fun."

Rihanna showed her delectable legs in a shorts outfit. The black lace dress with white lining had ruffled lace details on the high neck and the long sleeve cuffs.

A black band at the waist accentuated her figure. The Jimmy Choo peep toe ankle stilettos were the perfect extension to her ensemble.

Her short crop and the high neck dress highlighted her beautiful chiseled features.

The oversized studded rings on the middle finger of the right hand and the index finger of her left hand looked enchanting with her nails painted bright pink.

The Barbadian beauty continues to impress her with her bold styles.

Grammy nominee for four songs at the Grammy's this Sunday, Rihanna gave a special performance at the event, singing an eight-song set that included hits like "Hate That I Love You," "Pon De Replay," and her latest single, "Don't Stop the Music."
