Lindsay Lohan Makes Papa Proud

Besides spending massive amounts of money at designer boutiques, Lindsay Lohan’s favorite thing to do seems to be going out to high-priced meals.
The “Mean Girls” actress was spotted grabbing some lunch at La Scala in Beverly Hills with gal pal Samantha Ronson yesterday. And it was a casual affair, with LiLo sporting a tank top, jeans, and a shawl.
And as previously reported by the Mag55, Lindsay has declined to appear on her mom’s new reality show. Recently her father voiced his support of her decision, stating that it was the right choice.
Michael Lohan told press, “If she did decide to make an appearance on the show, then I’m behind her. But she needs to decide if she’s a serious actress or a reality TV personality.”

Katharine McPhee: Looking For Work
Wearing heels and a cute summer dress, Katharine McPhee was spotted arriving for an important business meeting in Santa Monica on Tuesday.
After making her way inside, the American Idol runner-up was later seen making a barefooted dash out to her car to grab some CD’s - leading to speculation that she’s now ready to shop around for a new label.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, McPhee left the RCA label on January 11th, marrying producer Nick Cokas three weeks later. But after a relaxing honeymoon and brush with acting, McPhee looks to be geared up for another trip to the studio.
In related news, Katharine will be performing live tonight (March 12) on American Idol, which airs on FOX at 9PM ET.

Charlize Theron: “Sleepwalking” In NYC
The Tribeca Grand Screening Room was the place to be last night for fans of Charlize Theron. The beautiful actress showed up at the event, hosted by the Cinema Society and Dior Beauty, looking as hot as ever.
Theron wore a gold knee-length, plunging neckline halter dress, along with matching massive heels and a coif that screamed “bring back the ‘80s!” And for some reason, the retro look (think Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface) really worked for her.
And while looking amazing is one of Charlize’s specialties, she recently revealed that she doesn’t put any emphasis on her appearance.
She told FOX’s Pop Tarts, “At the end of the day, it isn’t about what I physically look like — it comes back to storytelling. If I can find a good story, [that] is all that matters; I don’t judge a character on what I physically look like. I really don’t care about appearance; that is so secondary to everything else that’s more important in life.”

Cameron Diaz Charms ShoWest Convention
When you think of sexy leading ladies, Cameron Diaz is always at the top of the list. And last night the “Shrek” actress worked her magic on the spectators at the ShoWest convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Diaz was in town to promote her new flick “What Happens in Vegas…” to the National Association of Theatre Owners, although she got a little more love than she bargained for.
Fox Filmed Entertainment chairman Tom Rothman seized the moment by grabbing Cameron and kissing her on the cheek during a shared moment onstage- something she didn’t look too thrilled about.
And speaking of kisses, one of Cam’s past flames has made an appearance in her life again. On Monday, the “Sweetest Thing” actress was spotted talking with Matt Dillon at the Chateau Marmont. We’ll let you know if it ends up being more than a friendly encounter.

Madonna’s Hall of Fame Induction
It was only a matter of time until Madonna had her own spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And that time has come.
The “Like A Virgin” singer was inducted into the prestigious group last night by one of her favorite young singers, Justin Timberlake, at a New York City ceremony.
Madge was honored with a speech by the “SexyBack” singer in which he even took a shot at Britney Spears. JT said, “The world is full of Madonna wannabes. I might have even dated a couple… But there is truly only one Madonna.”
After the ceremony, the 49-year-old singer got her freak on at uptown Nobu, where she partied until the wee hours of the morning in a cute black dress with white accents.
This April, Madonna’s new album, Hard Candy hits shelves. It will reportedly feature collaborations with Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Timbaland.

Miley Cyrus: Movie Buff
When it comes to hanging with her girlfriends, Miley Cyrus is always prepared. And yesterday she was spotted with gal pal Mandy Jiroux carrying a stack of DVDs.
The paparazzi caught up with the “Hannah Montana” actress leaving her local Hollywood, California Blockbuster with enough movies for an all-day marathon.
And in the latest installment of YouTube’s Miley and Mandy Show, the girls take their viewers on a tour of their private jet, as well as bouncing around their hotel room.
For all you girls who wanna do your own show, it’s not that hard. Reportedly Miley does it all herself, with a camcorder and a computer. A source told press, “They do it all themselves. They pick the music and Miley edits it together. It’s just two girls having fun.”

Lauren Conrad Preps for LA Fashion Week
Yesterday, she was spotted along with pal Whitney Port at the Orthodox Fall 2008 collection show as part of Los Angeles Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. And come Tuesday, the spectators at Fashion Week will get an eyeful of LC’s creations.
That’s right, Conrad is showcasing her very own collection tomorrow, and while she’s still a little wet behind the ears, something tells us this girl is gonna surprise even her most vehement critics.
Of being showcased at LA Fashion Week, Lauren told press, “I’m really nervous. It’s one thing to have your designs displayed in stores. To have them walk down the runway is a really big deal.”

Sophie Monk: Life After Benji Madden
Sure, her ex-fiancé has been gallivanting all around town with his new high-profile girlfriend Paris Hilton. But don’t count Sophie Monk out just yet.
The Australian babe was spotted out and about with a pal at the Melrose Trading Post swap meet at Fairfax High School yesterday. And she had no trouble attracting the attention of male passersby.
But the real news is that Miss Monk may have moved on fairly quickly as well, since her disengagement from Madden. Insiders are reporting that she’s found love with a multi-millionaire video game designer.
Sophie was spotted having a romantic breakfast at the Griddle café on the Sunset Strip with Jason Rubin, a gaming guru who recently sold one of his companies to Fox Interactive Media for more than $20 million.
Maybe that’s why she’s been smiling so big lately!

Emma Watson Heats Up Empire Awards

With all the drama and complications that come with two celebrities hooking up, Emma Watson would rather date non-famous guys.
And at the Empire Awards in London last night, the “Harry Potter” actress stepped out with a self-confessed “nobody,” looking very happy and very much in love.
In the past, Emma has been linked to rocker Johnny Borrell, as well as her well-known co-star Daniel Radcliffe. But according to onlookers at the trendy London night club Carbon, she only had eyes for her working stiff boyfriend.
A witness told press, “They look very loved up. Emma looked really happy.” And when a female fan asked Emma’s man what films he’s been in, he replied, “Nothing. I’m a nobody. I work in admin.”
Reportedly Emma and her man left the club separately, but were reunited soon thereafter and spent the night together in a hotel.

Kim Kardashian Parties at The Pool
After spending Thursday night helping Eva Longoria open up her new restaurant, Kim Kardashian flew across the country for a Saturday night party Atlantic City.
Wearing a cute black outfit with thigh-high black boots, Miss Kardashian took to the red carpet before mingling with fellow attendees at The Pool, which is located in Harrah’s Resort.
As for her burgeoning reality tv career, Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s will see in the season two premiere later tonight (March 9).
When asked what’s on tap for the upcoming season, the Beverly Hills socialite with the to-die-for derriere replied: “You’d be surprised. When the cameras are running, we might plan for certain things, but totally different stuff starts happening. So this time, we [didn’t] plan anything.”
