Madonna: Trouble in Paradise?

They’ve long been the uber-hot popstar/smoldering director ultra hip couple. But a recent string of events is beginning to reveal a possible rift between Madonna and her hubby Guy Ritchie.
Madge was spotted having dinner with gal pal Gwyneth Paltrow last night at Locanda Locatelli in London, England. And neither of them looked very happy.
After all, the numbers are starting to add up - Guy didn’t show for the Material Girl’s Malawi benefit last month, and he wasn’t even there when she got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last week.
Even Madonna’s publicist realizes how this all looks… she recently issued a public statement, saying, “Mr. and Mrs. Guy Ritchie remain happily married.” We’ll keep you updated.

Katie Holmes’ St Patrick’s Day Lunch Outing
Wearing a striped black-and-white dress with a yellow trench on top, Katie Holmes stepped out to one of her favorite lunch spots, Joan’s on Third, in Los Angeles.
As far as TomKat gossip is concerned, recent reports claim that the couple are disputing over how to celebrate daughter Suri’s second birthday.
“Tom is out to make Suri’s second birthday a spectacle like no other child has ever had,” a source is quoted as saying.
The insider added: “Katie believes wholeheartedly it would set a bad example. She doesn’t want her daughter to be a spoiled Beverly Hills rich kid who expects the biggest and the best for the rest of her life… She’s all for a nice party, but nothing ostentatious.”

She’s quite the traveler these days, and it seems that Tara Reid has turned in her Australian affinity for a little Mexican mojo.
The “American Pie” actress was spotted over the weekend enjoy the beautiful weather and surroundings of Cancun, Mexico.
Yesterday, Reid showed off her fabulous bikini body, sporting an animal print two-piece bathing suit, along with a south-of-the-border-style shawl.
The former “Taradise” hostess has also been seen going around with a new Mexican playboy. As far as relationships go, this one isn’t even on the map yet, but with Mexico’s reputation for romance, who knows what could happen?

When it comes to desirable cab customers, the taxi drivers in New York City must swerve to pick up Miranda Kerr.
The Victoria’s Secret model was spotted hailing a ride yesterday following a lunch date with her mom at Mercer Kitchen in the trendy Soho district of Manhattan.
And even when she’s going casual, this brunette beauty knows how to do it in style. She sported a v-neck sweater underneath a sport coat with a pair of skinny jeans and some high heeled boots.
Given her romance with “Pirates of the Caribbean” hottie Orlando Bloom, no wonder Miss Kerr is always looking her best- she’s in competition with every other woman in America for his attention.

Brad Pitt and Bill Clinton’s Rebuilding Effort

Arguably the world’s most well-known male actor and a former president joined forces in New Orleans on Sunday, as Brad Pitt and Bill Clinton teamed up with 600 students from around the world to formally break ground on Pitt’s Make it Right project.
The effort is planning to construct 150 sustainable and affordable homes in the Lower 9th Ward, which was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.
“It is only fitting that we culminate a weekend focused on youth service by turning words in action,” President Clinton said. “I’m pleased that Make It Right would invite us to be here today, to give us all the opportunity to restore the historic Lower 9th Ward and help residents rebuild after Hurricane Katrina.”
Meanwhile, Pitt told press: “We are so appreciative of the support we have received from the Lower 9th Ward Community, the Clinton Global Initiative, and university students from around the country at our groundbreaking today.”
The Fight Club stud added: “I especially want to thank former President Bush and President Clinton for their early support of Make It Right. We are excited about today, but need to remember that our project is one small part of addressing a much larger need. Thousands of people still need help in order to return home.”

Lindsay Lohan: Doing Things the Right Ways
Following a Friday night red carpet hosting duties at the Scandinavian Style Mansion, Lindsay Lohan attended the Wayne Hadly Autumn/Winter 2008 Collection preview on Saturday evening in Los Angeles.
Held at the boutique store Scout, Lohan browsed through the offerings between chats and picture taking with fellow guest Wayne Joffe.
And with six months under her belt since leaving rehab, the Mean Girls actress has been opening up about the lifestyle that landed her in rehab.
“I think it was just situations that I was putting myself in,” she told People magazine. “I was putting myself in the wrong situations and I didn’t have the focus in the right place.”
But things are looking brighter by the day, as LiLo’s recording a new album and begins filming Ye Olde Times with Jack Black this spring.
Asked whether she views this as her comeback, Lindsay replied: “I think this is what I love to do. I’m just continuing to do it – in the right ways.”

Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso: Date Night
Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso strolled arm-in-arm after an evening out at London’s ever-popular Cipriani restaurant.
The couple are coming off of the big announcement that they are expecting their second child together and third in all, as Luciana has another child from a previous marriage.
Besides spending time with his lovely lady, the Bourne Ultimatum actor is also teaming up with Boston pal Ben Affleck in support of Barack Obama.
According to press reports, “The two actors are part of a new effort from MoveOn.org to create a television ad in support of Barack Obama’s bid for the White House.”
The statement continues, “The liberal group, which endorsed the Illinois senator last month, is asking its 3.2 million members to create a 30 second campaign commercial that ‘shows what inspires them about the senator’s candidacy.’”
Damon and Affleck, along with famed director Oliver Stone and singer John Legend, are among the panel of judges to decide which ad spot is the winner.

“Scary Spice” Melanie Brown Hits the Beach
After recently wrapping up her lengthy Spice Girls world tour, singer Melanie Brown is in the midst of a relaxing vacation with husband Stephen Belafonte in Miami, Florida.
On Saturday, a bikini clad Scary Spice and her man hit the beach for a jet ski ride - soon migrating to their hotel pool area to mingle with fellow guests.
While by the pool, Mel B checked out the muscles of a hunky pool boy - reportedly making the hotel worker blush by squeezing his bicep and taking a cheeky glance at his backside.
And the getaway is a much needed one for Brown, who also has been dealing with a child support battle with comedian Eddie Murphy.
According to recent reports, the “Norbit” star recently accused Mel of trapping him into having the child, 11-month-old daughter, Angel.
“What was supposed to be a casual relationship ended with her having his baby and taking him to court for millions,” a source said.

Sophie Monk: Ok with Benji and Paris
When they suddenly broke up back in February, no one was quite sure why. And with Benji Madden moving on so quickly with Paris Hilton, you’d think his ex-fiancé Sophie Monk would be upset. But she’s not.
The paparazzi caught up to Miss Monk yesterday outside of the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and asked her if she was sore over the whole ordeal. She replied vehemently, “No, no, no!”
And looking the way she does, the Australian babe won’t be on the market for long. This gorgeous model/singer turns heads everywhere she goes.
She was wearing a very flattering grey and pink striped tank top with a denim skirt and flip flops. Few women make everyday casual look this good!

Miranda Kerr Plays Bikini Twister
Victoria’s Secret babe Miranda Kerr showed off her flexibility during a game of bikini Twister in Miami Beach, Florida earlier this week.
The supermodel, who’s currently dating Orlando Bloom, spent Wednesday afternoon soaking up the rays as she participated in Victoria’s Secret pool party called “Rally at the Raleigh.”
The event, which was held at Miami’s Raleigh Hotel, saw a guest list including some of Miranda’s Victoria’s Secret angel pals, lingerie lovers - as well as co-hosts Vanessa Minnillo and Brody Jenner.
“Miami is already a great Spring Break place. This is something good and fun for everyone to be involved in. Everyone is outside, having a good time, meeting people, being social, and it’s good fun,” a partygoer tells.

Lindsay Lohan: Drama Queen
She’s in desperate need of a career boost, and she knows it! But last night, Lindsay Lohan found herself caught between a temper tantrum and the desire to promote herself.
LiLo was hired to host the Scandinavian Style Mansion event in Beverly Hills last night, but when she arrived at the gig, she was taken aback by the red carpet backdrop plastered with Paris Hilton’s name.
It seems the “Simple Life” babe was debuting her new line of handbags at the party, hence it was a promotional event for Miss Hilton as well. And that didn’t sit well with the “Mean Girls” actress.
Reportedly, upon her arrival, Lohan ducked inside the mansion’s kitchen and pitched a massive hissy fit, refusing to walk the red carpet with Paris’ name all over it. Eventually she complained enough, and the backdrop was removed.
Even then, witnesses say Lindsay slapped on a fake smile, “breezed her way through” the party to fulfill her contractual obligation, and left in a huff. Classy.

When you think of the Pussycat Dolls, the first things that come to mind are sexy ladies, hit songs, and skimpy lingerie. And now everyone can have a piece of some sultry PCD-wear.
The “Don’t Cha” singers were on the scene at the Mercedes Benz 2008 Los Angeles Fashion Week to promote their new line of intimate wear.
Performing as a five-piece (given the recent departure of Carmit Bachar), the girls worked the stage as their new range of undergarments were paraded in front of the enthusiastic audience.
And for once Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, and Ashley Roberts seemed a bit overdressed, as the models were baring more skin than the band.

English babe Keira Knightley was spotted out and about in the Soho district of London yesterday, trying to keep dry in the pouring rain.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actress wore a checkerboard-pattern wool “Sound of Music-esque” coat and a warm knit hat as she chatted with a male friend.
And it sounds like Keira may be branching out from her film career into the world of music. She’s recorded three songs for her new film “The Edge of Love” and she sounds pretty hopeful that she may be onto something.
Knightley told press, “I can’t really sing I had to have a few lessons, but once I started doing it, a sound emerged that wasn’t too disagreeable.” Hey, if Heidi Montag and Paris Hilton can do it, why not Keira?

Fresh from a romantic Barbados getaway with new flame Chris Brown, the “Umbrella” singer took the stage in a “show-stopping, bondage-inspired outfit, complete with thigh-high lace up boots and a skimpy PVC corset.”
Continuing along with her world tour, Rihanna performed in front of a jam-packed O2 Centre in London.

To keep her fine figure, Rihanna tells of her daily diet, saying: “I have egg whites and pineapple for breakfast with hot water and lemon. For lunch I have fish and potatoes. I hate vegetables, but I make myself eat them. For dinner I have fish again.”
