Lindsay Lohan’s Pool Party

It was a busy day for Mean Girls starlet Lindsay Lohan, who was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills before cooling off at a pool party.
On her way to XIV Karats jewelry boutique, LiLo dropped by a friend’s house to pick up a package - proceeding to shop for some new bling before lunching with friends at La Scala restaurant.
The 21-year-old “recovering” actress then headed off to a little pool party in Brentwood - ready to mingle with her fellow revelers (which surprisingly didn’t include her BFF Samantha Ronson).
According to paparazzi on the scene, “From the looks of it she was there with mostly men, scantily clad in a short tank dress while carrying her staple leather jacket.”
In related news, it looks like Miss Lohan’s having a rough time finding someone to sponsor her upcoming 22nd birthday party - launching a new website appealing for promoters for the event.
The site tells: “Sponsors will have a unique branding opportunity to an internationally media worthy event. Lindsay and her 10 closes girlfriends will start the celebration in the early afternoon with spa treatments including manicures, facials and massages. Upon nightfall an intimate group of 75 VIP guests will gather for dinner, performances and most importantly to help Lindsay blow out the candles on her 22nd Birthday cake.”

Britney Spears: Another Day at the Beach
Showing off her Bally Total Fitness body for a second day in a row, Britney Spears romped along the beach with her agent Jason Trawick and another assistant in Costa Rica.
Donning an Ed Hardy “Love Kills Slowly” bikini, the Gimme More singer was all smiles as she hopped back on an ATV for a spin in between dips in the sea.
As previously reported by Mag55, Britney, her father Jamie, Mel Gibson and Gibson’s wife arrived on Thursday in the capital San Jose and then took a private plane to the country’s Pacific coast where Gibson has a house.
Both Britney and Mel lived in the same Malibu, California neighborhood together - kick-starting their friendship.

Miley Cyrus Rocks Z100’s Zootopia
Disney sensation Miley Cyrus took the stage at Z100’s Zootopia 2008 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The Hannah Montana actress/singer has been making more and more public appearances as of late - doing her best to put the Vanity Fair photo debacle behind her.
Meanwhile, Miley recently came to the defense of troubled young stars such as Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, saying: “Everyone has their time. And I think most 21 to 25-year-olds go through this kind of thing. Basically, they’re being normal 21-year-olds, especially Lindsay (Lohan). I mean, most of that’s pretty normal. If you went to most high schools, I could point out Britneys and Lindsays.”
“I guess that’s why I’m so adamant about the Britneys and Lindsays and whatever, because I know those people and I know they have good hearts and they’re just struggling,” she adds.

Britney Spears’ Sun-Soaked Bikini Romp

It’s not every day that an entertainment industry icon personally invites you to spend some time with him at his private beach resort. And Britney Spears was happy to accept Mel Gibson’s invitation to get away for a couple of days.
Having landed at the San Jose Airport in Costa Rica on Thursday (Brit’s dad and Mel’s wife are also along for the trip) the “Gimme More” singer has been spotted enjoying herself and taking some time to just relax.
She was spotted on the beach laying in the sand and basking in the sun while smoking a cigarette with a gal pal yesterday, sporting a multi-colored two-piece bikini and a pair of rockstar shades.
Given her recent regimen of daily workouts and trips to the recording studio, perhaps this weekend beach getaway is just what Britney needs to keep her focus and maintain the comeback momentum she’ll need to boost her career again.

Overexposed Angelina Jolie
She’s the talk of the 61st Annual Cannes International Film Festival, and yesterday Angelina Jolie gave the prying paparazzi a little more than they bargained for.
Spotted out on the terrace of the Maryland villa she’s been staying at with partner Brad Pitt and their four children, the “A Mighty Heart” babe let her nipple slip out while she was changing her top.
And with a burgeoning baby bump full of fraternal twin girls, it’s no wonder that she had a bit of trouble maneuvering her clothing.
Earlier this week, Jolie wowed the Cannes crowd with her red carpet appearance for her new film “Kung Fu Panda.” Next week she’ll do it all over again for the premiere of “The Changeling.”

Bar Refaeli Photoshooting in Cannes
Sure, she’s vacationing in the South of France while attending the 61st Annual Cannes International Film Festival, but that doesn’t mean Bar Refaeli can’t get a little work done.
The Israeli supermodel was spotted working the camera aboard a yacht in the Bay of Cannes yesterday, sporting a variety of beautiful gowns.
And rumor has it she was doing a photo shoot with either Chanel Make Up or True Religion Accessorize, both companies with whom she has contracts.
It seems that the arm candy of Leonardo DiCaprio has an affinity for the ocean, given that she was spotted the day before taking a boat ride around the Eden Roc Hotel. As for Leo, he’s still yet to make a big appearance.

Britney Spears: Costa Rican Beach Babe
On vacation with actor Mel Gibson at his secluded ranch in Costa Rica, Britney Spears strapped on her two-piece bikini and hit the beach with friends on a Friday afternoon outing in paradise.
According to an eyewitness, “Britney looked relaxed as she sunbathed, ran into the water to play in the heavy waves and drove an ATV around the sand.”
Costa Rican newspaper Al Dia reports tell: “Britney, Mel, Brit’s father (Jamie Spears) and Mel’s wife (Robyn Moore) landed at San Jose’s main airport on Thursday, and when they get off the plane, the pop star hid herself under an umbrella to hide from photographers. From there, the trio boarded a private jet to one of Gibson’s reported several homes in the country, in the northwest beach region of Guanacaste.”
And while there has been speculation the the trip is spiritually based, an inside source told press, “They’re just going away for a few days to relax.”

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal: Lunch Date
As individuals, both Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon tend to steer clear of drama. So it’s no wonder that they prefer their romance to be low key.
The longtime twosome was spotted grabbing some lunch yesterday afternoon out in Los Angeles, California, looking so happy together. And as they finished their meal, both the “Sweet Home Alabama” cutie and her “Day After Tomorrow” beau left in the same vehicle.
Reese looked sweet in a casual blue belted dress with a dark cardigan sweater and a pair of strappy sandals, while Jake opted for a more macho white v-neck t-shirt and a pair of jeans.
Witherspoon’s latest project is a movie called “Four Christmases” (due out in November). She told press, “The movie is all about family. It’s about the connection with your mother and your father, and those dynamics, so I really think people are going to relate to it. [But also,] it’s about divorce. It’s about how people have step-families and [need to] negotiate going to your mom’s and your dad’s. I really think people haven’t seen many movies like that.”

Laura Vandervoort Goes “Into the Blue” in Bikini
Showing off her incredible body in a skimpy blue and white bikini, Laura Vandervoort was hard at work filming her upcoming movie “Into the Blue 2: The Reef” on the white sandy shores of Hawaii.
The “Smallville” actress, who was sucking on a lollipop in between chatting with her co-stars, frolicked around in the sand before covering up in an over-sized shirt.
The staight-to-DVD flick also features Chris Carmack, who has recently signed with “Desperate Housewives”, and Audrina Patridge of “The Hills”.
According to industry reports, Into the Blue 2 is “a new and exciting installment based on the action thriller about aspiring treasure hunters.”

Fresh off a day full of “Kung Fu Panda” promotions on Thursday, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted leaving the Carlton Hotel in Cannes, France.
And although the couple first said that they wish to keep the sexes of their twins-on-the-way a secret, FOX News is reporting that the Beowulf babe is having fraternal twin girls!
Receiving congratulations from their celebrity pals, even Jolie’s ex Billy Bob Thornton had nothing but kind words for the mother-to-be.
“I think she was always meant to be a mother in so many ways,” Billy Bob tells Extra. “I’m just so happy for her.”

Petra Nemcova Brings Sex Appeal to Cannes
Making the most of her trip to the Cannes Film Festival, Petra Nemcova has been dazzling onlookers in the south of France ever since her arrival.
Last night, the 28-year-old Czech supermodel sported a spring bud green dress as she schmoozed it up with fellow revelers at a benefit for the Prince Albert of Monaco Foundation.
And on Friday, Petra was once again front and center – this time attending the Cannes premiere of Un conte de Noel (A Christmas Tale).
The film is by director Arnaud Desplechin, telling “the story of a family brought together one Christmas to try to overcome the sibling rivalries that have fractured their relationships.”

Lindsay Lohan: Not a Lesbian, Says Mom
Earlier this week she was all over Paris, France for some shopping and relaxation, but yesterday Lindsay Lohan was back in Los Angeles.
The “Mean Girls” starlet was spotted milling around Beverly Hills in a pair of short shorts, a white button-up shirt, and some fabulous brown suede lace-up boots, along with a pair of aviator sunglasses.
Accompanied by a gal pal, LiLo stopped into a local bagel shop for lunch before proceeding to a small boutique to pick out a few items. After that, she headed over to Rodeo Drive for some real shopping.
And in response to the recent notion that Lindsay is in a lesbian relationship with BFF Samantha Ronson, her mother Dina and sister Ali have come forward to speak out on her behalf.
Dina told press, “Samantha’s an amazing girl,” with Ali adding, “They’re best friends. They’re just friends. It’s pathetic what people say.”
Momma Lohan continued, “It’s so silly. We actually laugh about it now. It really does hurt… but you develop a thick skin. You have to ignore it.”

Looking simultaneously like she’s ready to burst, and more beautiful than ever (how’s that for a combo?) Angelina Jolie showed up on the Cannes International Film Festival red carpet looking simply stunning.
Accompanied by co-star Jack Black and partner Brad Pitt, the “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” babe, who is very pregnant with twins, sported an elegant green cleavage-baring gown and a very obvious glow.
Speaking of her upcoming double birth, Jolie told press recently that she’s actually enjoying being pregnant, unlike many of her peers.
“I’m very happy. Unlike most women, I love being pregnant. [It makes] you feel like more like a woman than you’ve ever felt. You just feel like everything about your body is there for your baby.”

With all the media hoopla and red carpet romps going on at the Cannes International Film Festival this week, Bar Refaeli seems to be finding her own way of enjoy her time in the South of France.
The gorgeous supermodel was spotted enjoying the beautiful weather on a private boat ride earlier today, and she looked as cute as ever.
Bar sported a casual-yet-sexy ensemble including a pastel blue-colored belted mini dress with a pair of strappy heels and some retro aviator shades.
One of her most noteworthy accessories was missing, though - boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio. And while he hasn’t yet been spotted at Cannes, rumor has it he’ll be making an appearance soon.
